I think it's just too much glass. Assuming the truck is on 37's, the glass looks like something a TT on 39's would need to tuck at full bump. I think if it was scaled back a bit it could look good. It's hard to improve the looks of a last gen bronco though...

Im not a fan of glass but i like that thing. Its so over the top on both front and back glass that it works for me. Denifetaly looks like a hot wheel toy though.

I like it in the front view but the side/rear view looks funky. Rear looks wider that front. Just weird angle I guess.

Nice handiwork. Cool mirror protectors for the mall guys.

Guess what happens the the mirror protector hits a tree? The answer is you will probably need a new door.
I decided to not protect them and I just buy new stock mirrors as required. Yup I hit trees and bushes with my mirrors and the plastic breaks.
The stock style with the arm to the body of the door are less expensive to replace. I bought 6 pairs for Chris for a pittance at a swap meet (wonder if he has used them up yet?). So far the electric aero mirrors are harder to find like that. Cheap replacement for the arm style, but the door still needs body work for the dents if you care about such. Dents are always small. Much less expensive than a new door.

Correction - cool mirror BASE for guys who don't go around running into trees ;)

Bushes move around them & the old doors were still made of steel, not tin foil so unless one goofs up big time there's no need to hook a ratchet strap to the mirror base & pull the dents in the door back out.

70's trucks didn't come with the cute little fold in flag mirrors like the 90's trucks did. These are much less cumbersome & less likely to bend a door than 99% of the 16 or so different styles of mirrors offered on these trucks

Meah...chicks dig body damage! I would like to add you only need mirrors if your back bumper isn't adequate!

Time for another story
Ha - been there. My wife was sitting at a traffic light (71 F250) and another truck with similar mirrors (GMC). Took the green arrow and bam. Both trucks had way damaged doors. That Ford mirror is very tough. Made of all stainless and much stronger than the door. Door needed body work and after replacing the mirror glass the rest of the mirror was reused. The other guy did not pay!
I still like the expendable stock plastic mirrors. I am on my third set and the door has yet to have damage . At least in the mirror location. The lower part of the passenger door did not survived the tree. However the body repair wont cost much when I get it fixed in San Felipe. The last door fix cost $75US including matching clear coat and the guy was good enough so he did not needed hardly any bondo. A real craftsman. That last event probably will require a new mirror as it more wobbly now. Like Eric said. mirrors are not very critical for a desert guy.
The best fix for stock Bronco mirrors is to fold them when the bushes are present. Buried in bushes is usually something more substantial than twigs. Speed creates even more need to fold the things.

Ah yes my superduty has the towing mirrors. Forget to fold them in the back country in Baja is a bad thing. Those darn things cost more, but now days they are cheaper if one buys an imported version off the web.
