No, but I'd likely pay 60 bucks for one like that. Maybe as a present for my dad I'd spend the $100 though.

I'd consider it if it had some kind of cap for the end of the flash light and the button to turn flash light on. Don't most people already carry a separate flash light? I think like a mallet or hammer on the end would be more handy.

No, likely not. I'd just end up breaking it and it'd piss me off for a few weeks...

I've got a couple e-tools if you want one. 20 bucks brand new in the issued cardboard box haha.

P.s. why does a shovel come with surgical tubing?

Well, the "cone" looking things are technically caps so you can do your best runway director impression, and the flashlight I believe has 5 functions including strobe/sos for all of your needed rave requirements. And I'm trying to find a better picture but there is a carbon steel plate on the back of the shovel head so it can be used as a hammer...

Oh ok I see. I was wondering what those cap things were for. Perfect so when you bash your forehead with the point on the shovel while trying to use the hammer you can flag down some help with the red cap and the strobe function

No in reality if it was well made I would consider buying for $100 Any kind of warranty?

The hinge looks flimsy, I've buckled many army shovels at the hinge. Cool concept though.

funny - I just get the $5-10 ones at home depot. They're small, light & cheap & I don't feel bad using it as a hammer if I don't have to.

This and then I've got one of the fold up military ones. Grabbed it at a swap meet for $5-10 as well.

Here's a pic of the ones homodepot has - it's right in front of the 3 fuel jugs

Here's the one I bought to keep in my truck. http://www.offroadwarehouse.com/product ... ctID/51193 Stores really small and its solid once unfolded and locked. Can be had on amazon for 15 bucks. Doesn't have a flashlight though but I'd prefer my shovel didn't have one anyways.

I stole one of those from Chris at the Baja HID Excursion during the white elephant raffle.

I couldn't believe Chris didn't leave me on the side of the road in Baja for that, haha. It's a cool shovel for sure and the quality is incredible. I also have a foldable military shovel that I think I picked up for $10.
