You nailed it years ago, Rick. God loves Broncos and has proven it year after year with great weather for HuckFEAST. Now we just have to make sure a few Broncos show up so he'll have a reason to deliver.

Weather looks like it might work out. Second trailer has already had to pull out. The creek crossing has been a little crazy from what I hear. May stash the trailer at the RV park up on the highway if it is too high to get the trailer through.

I forgot to go out to the beach to check the creek, but it's been pretty deep from what I've seen. Here's a few clips from a video I took in '08... very similar to current conditions.

I imagine the creek will be flowing pretty good this weekend but as long is it's crossings are done at low tide, it shouldn't be a problem. We could move to one of the campgrounds if we want to make it easier on everyone. I'm totally open to suggestions. Depending on how many are attending, I could potentially host campers at my place if we don't want to stay on the beach.

We need a rough head count of the dedicated GFBer's that will be there for dinner. Kelly is planning a big pot of her cioppino seafood stew and her dirty rice. I'm doing my grilled pork loins again and some garlic bread.

I have no idea on headcount, Rick. I will have the family and maybe plus 1. If anyone else local jobs is, I'll tell them to bring enough food for themselves and we'all add it to the table.

My Bronco is loaded up and ready to rip tomorrow.

For those coming: Tides Friday 1/13 5:02 pm -1.26 ft. low tide
11:41 pm 4.46 ft. High tide
Sat. 1/14 4:38 am 2.13 ft. low tide
10:36am 6.12 ft. high tide Rangers may shut down creek crossing
5:44 pm -0.89 low tide
Sun. 1/15 5:32 am 2.21 ft. low tide
11:22 am 5.55 ft. high tide Rangers may shut down creek crossing
6:25 pm 0.4 ft. low tide

Info I have is that the Rangers widened the creek outlet so not as deep and high flowing as earlier in the week and can easily be crossed at low tide. Crossing will likely be closed at high tide so plan ahead. Be safe.

Howdy guys. I'm in town working sans Bronco but do have plenty of 4x4. Not sure I'll have time to make it by, but please post up the location when you can and I'll see how the cards fall.

Man what an epic weekend. Perfect weather once again to prove that God really does love Broncos. The sand was all smoothed out after the storms and was nice and firm after all the rain and where a blast to play on. Too bad more Broncos didn't show but we still had fun. Dinner was great and Steve's breakfast alone was worth the price of admission. I can't wait for year eleven.
