I am getting race radios ready for several teams and fixing one that just came back from prerunning in Baja. One thing to remember, use bolts with stover nuts or some type of locking nuts to hold down your radio. Self taping sheet metal screws will back out over time. Usually in the middle of a long wooped out section of the course. :-) More work to do in the morning.

Stay safe guys....

I will be prerunning the beginning section Encenada to San Quintin starting this Saturday, and then some chasing on race day. Not sure the whole plan yet.

I also plan on eating tacos and making a Yelp review of Paris de Noche.

I looked for a thread about it earlier also. I'll be headed down there for sure. I haven't figured out when I'm going to go. I'm still holding out hope that I will be able to take my truck, even if only to do donuts in the wash. Otherwise, and more likely, I'll just go down Thursday through Saturday. I'll be cruising around with my buddy on my rusty beach cruisers.

So, if you see a couple of guero's on clapped out bicycles yell "hey, Mike". We're both named Mike...

I'll be headed down Tuesday. I'll most likely spend Tuesday night at HP ranch, and head to San Felipe early on Wednesday morning. I'll prerun the last section and stay at HP ranch until race day. I'll be co-driving for Matt Helton from San Felipe to the finish on race day in the 1080 car.

If you see me holler. You should be able to easily recognize me because I'll be in black socks and a hat.

Black socks and hat. Got it. Ha! Is Matt staying at HP Ranch, too? I haven seen him since the Railto days. I'll be at HP Ranch Sunday through Sunday. Except for when I'm not sleeping.

Sounds like a good plan Kartman. Golfing for a day or two after doesn't sound like a bad way to unwind!

As of now, this is our plan... Team meeting this Saturday afternoon, cross the border Sunday and head to Horsepower Ranch, which will be our home for the week, spend a few days prerunning SF to Ensenada, do some recon of the first 100-ish miles as we will be chasing the first section of the course. Work Contingency Thursday, watch the start and chase the car on Friday, drive to SF Saturday to drop el jefe off for the last leg of the race and chase to Ensenada...

Damn it. This is starting to sound like a lot of work!

Yes it does! I gotta say, I never thought I'd be chasing for a Class 11, but we are so looking forward to this.

Hey Guys, Matt and I will both be at HP ranch with the 1080 team. Matt's skinny now though so he may be harder to recognize if you haven't seen him since ROR.

The car doesn't have the digger lights, but he's committed to driving like Dennis Anderson.
