2015 Baja 500

So this will be my first time going. I'm going with my uncle and his son in law, along with a few off my friends. If there's some cool stuff to do or taco shops that are awesome let's here em! I know we will be in Ensenada the first day and after that I don't know. It would be cool to meet some of you down there and grab some beerskis.

My uncle is driving a stock dodge ram so speed will not be in his radar. I'd like to find some cool sections to hit. I'm gonna try to have a GPS when I go down there so coordinates will be good.

Try the Adobada con Queso at MK Tacos. It's on the corner right near contingency.

On the way in or out of town (North side) "El Trailero" is good too.

Were not leaving till Friday morning. I think around 5. I know my uncles son in law had family somewhere along the course, they have a ranch and a bunch of bedrooms I guess so I think we're staying there Saturday night and camping Friday night.

I wish! I've never been so I'm not comfortable going by myself. I've lived in San Diego my whole life and only been to Rosarito once. Let's meet up on Friday sometime. I bought a vhf radio so I can choose whatever channel to be on so we can get a hold of each other down there

Ill be there all week prerunning then up in the pine forest on race day. 24 hour tacos except mondays (across the street from the back side of the Bahia) is excellent, they have habenero pickled onions that kick ass. MK is pretty good as well. If in San Vincente go to the Torta stand on the west side of the street at the stoplight. Paris is a great place for beers in ensenada.

On Race Day be sure to allow extra time if driving, the highways are always crazy and lots of traffic.

Wxman is 151.625 it is also the freq that SCORE uses on race day for ops, statuses and updates.
