That same rumor goes around every year. Has never happened as far as I know.

My best friend and partner in crime move to Oregon last month so I'm going solo. If anyone in San Diego wants to head up there with me I'm going up to set up my spot, leaving early Saturday afternoon.

I'll be there. The rumors have been circulating for years. It so there's less people and more deals to be had. I got a spot, don't have much to sell, but the deals are Saturday night and you need to be selling to get in Saturday. Sunday is usually picked clean of the goodies before the gates open.

You don't need to be selling to get in Saturday!

That used to be the case but I guess it's changed. They also keep starting it earlier in the day on Saturday too.

Before Midnite on Sat.

Realistically as early as possible. We used to get there about 2 PM on Sat. Shop all night & sleep a bit in the early morning 4-6 AM or so and then have hang out time a bit before heading out 10 AMish.

Most deals are gone well before the gates are supposed to open.

How do you get in before? Or is it just open? I need fiberglass fenders and seats. Do those go pretty fast?

I am wondering the same thing. How do you get in on sat. Anything special needed or can you just get in.

I think you can just get in, but I can't remember for sure as we would always buy a vendor spot. That we we'd have a base camp right there in the action that we could bring parts back to. We could also bring a bit of stuff to sell as well if we wanted.
