The rdc rumor mill has it, that there won't be another norra 1000.
And we all know, if it says so on rdc, it's the truth...Ha!

The principal organizers of the race would disagree with RDC, but we'll have to wait and see. At the finish there was alot of talk going on with Norra people, but that was also in the excitement of the moment. Personally, I think every 5 years would keep it special and avoid burnout. Need more vintage racers, or atleast older rigs, and less Trophy trucks and prerunners, but Norra also has to make it pencil out too.

For me it is pretty much an all day drive to get to Ensenada. I would prefer to go for a whole week if I am going that far. Besides real Baja does not start until you pass El Rosario on the coast.
One of my favorite drives which I have done many times.
South to Santo Tomas then to Erendira then down the coast further south. Coyote Cals it the place in Erinrdria to stay and the coast between Santo Tomas and further south is nice and with very few people. BLow holes and twisty road and beaches to explore. Nice places to spend some time.
Directions. Just put the B500 into your GPS. Start the drirve in Ensenada, follow Mx 1 to Santa Tomas where the course starts. If you find closed gates be sure to close them when passing. The hill at Erindira is always worth a redo going up or down.

From Ensenada to Erindria is several hours using the course from Santo Tomas. The main highway is shorter and less time to get to the coast. Travel further south depends on your stops and exploring. Then return for an overnight Coyote Cals.
I would plan on at least 2 days from Ensenada.

Is that a 2 day trip? Or longer.
