I need more info on this. What day is the jump contest? I'm assuming that it is on Saturday Oct.18th. A Saturday camping permit is all I need correct? I could stomach the $100.00 if that's all we need for a Saturday morning arrival and a Sunday around noon departure. Does anyone have the scoop?

Saturday jumping yes. We have two tickets.......one for Friday and one for Saturday so I'm sure you can buy the Saturday only. With it you'll be able to camp on the beach Saturday night, and as much as it will get you down there I'd be prepared for a very long lineup on Pier Avenue starting early Saturday morning.

Me and my girlfriend are trying to make it out. With about 74 days until the event I should be able to get the bronco running good enough to make the 200 mile trip out there. Are tickets only pre-order or can I buy them at the gate? Would be cool to meet with some of you. :)

I got a Saturday camping permit. Hope to get there early Saturday morning and we'll be pulling out Sunday mid day.

How long can we stay on the sand with just a day pass? We got a room in town. Also what time is the feast? We can make/bring our red/white/blue potato salad and ?

Day passes expire at 11pm. Last year we were off the beach long before then. I think we ate around 6 or 7? Jim and Paige might remember.

Correct Steve-O but we were a bit unorganized since it was our first gathering, so we'd likely prefer something like a 5PM kickoff. We'll have a plan roughed out but want to leave time for everyone to enjoy the full day.....really whatever everyone agrees to will work just fine.

Glad to see you guys having what seems to be commitment for Huckfest! We like to see "I'm in" and "got my reservations" more than a pile of "I might make it if my Bronco's fixed and the boss will let me off work and need to negotiate with my other half for a kitchen pass" posts. It's too early for many, as well as roll call and food discussion with a bit over two months to go, but we'll start nailing it down soon!

Paige and I are looking forward to a big GFB show on the sand this year.

I may see if I can get the bronco I don't own fixed, and then I'll ask the other half who will say maybe, and then I'll tell her nevermind because it's bro fest. Is that a good enough post for you?

Yes perfect......my other half doesn't care for the bros either. No excuses needed for not wanting to join that show.
