Re: Ocotillo Wells
I'll be out there Jose, we should hook-up. Not sure if we're heading out Friday or Sat. morning yet, but if Sat. we'll be there before lunchtime. I hope you've already contacted Desert Ironwoods, they get real busy!!!

Re: Ocotillo Wells
Yeah we were in the Bronco, I keep it there during the desert season. But we only left camp a couple times this trip.
Re: Ocotillo Wells
Anyone else attending?? Thought I'd post this up. I think I'm going to head out for the day and do my part to clean up and represent GFB.

I'm heading out early in the morning for the clean up. Meeting up with a buddy of mine in his newly built thing.
Re: Ocotillo Wells
Had a good time at the clean up. Put another face to a name. That's always cool. I do have to apologize to 7d6f250. I left and didn't even say bye. I realized it as we started driving home. I thought to myself what a dickhead move. So I am sorry. It was cool meeting you.
Matt it was cool talking to you again. Glad you made it out.

Re: Ocotillo Wells
I went out of course to help out with the clean up. But I also went out to reconnect with a good friend that I lost touch with. He brought out his VW thing on its second trip since getting it finished. It is awesome! And that's an understatement. Here's the couple pics I took today.

That thing is sick! The thing next to your thing not the other thing, well both of those things are sick but that thing isn't the thing I speak of, I'm trying to say the thing next to your thing is a pretty cool thing. You understand I mean the thing beside the other things next to your thing.
Jk cool rides.

Re: Ocotillo Wells
It was actually nice weather. A little breezy but ok. I think they said 70 people volunteered. From what I understand it was kinda last minute. If that's true not a bad turn out.
