LeDuc Food and drinks
Hey Guys,
What are we all doing for food and drinks at the swap meet. Last year, Brian, Nick, Chris and myself were kicking ourself because food was super limited, coffee was nonexistent.
I had offered in another thread to have my mother in law make burritos... but I would need prepayment and pre order to know what to make (she is in her late 60s, and I dont want her cooking just for the hell of it you know......)
Chris had recommended we do sandwhiches....
We could do cold pizza
Or is everyone pretty much calling it on there own?

I'm up for any of the above.
No coffee for me, but the burritos sound darn good!

Hey Tony,
I'm still game for the Von's large sandwiches. They seem to keep easily and we don't have to worry about warming them up. But damn those burritos sounds good too so I'm game for either or hell both.
Lets just hope there is no rain this weekend.
Chris

I up for just about anything food wise. If you need prepayment I would be happy to paypal some. Burritos sound the best though!

Re: LeDuc Food and drinks
Just to get a little clarification Tony...
8 burritos per person? Are they small? Meaning are we gonna need 8 each, or would that be something where we'd need 1 for breakfast and 1 for dinner and we'd split it up?

They would be small burritos. I would say u can easily put down 2-3 for a regular person, someone like Chris or myself would put down 4, hence the amount I picked.

Re: LeDuc Food and drinks
hmmmm I may need an order and a half then - hahaha.
Really though... I eat a TON.
Sign me up for 1 order of 8 and I'll try to remember to bring some snacks to tide me over if I eat them all.

SAWEET! I'm definitely up for the challange!tcm glx wrote:Working on the sauce, its not gonna be good for the restroom action!
And on that note:
This past Saturday I went to a Thai place in LA that brags about having the hottest food in LA. They've been written up in multiple magazines, the NY Times, on Food Network, etc. Little hole in the wall place on Sunset. Anyways they have a "hotest dish" type challenge that my friend tried. Now I can eat some HOT stuff but this stuff was above and beyond. Made all of us at the table who tried it get watery eyed. Hottest thing I have ever tried - but damn good!
If anyone is into HOT food and wants to try this place let me know and I'll get you the info!

Re: LeDuc Food and drinks
Arethe people that are going Saturday night just the members selling stuff or is it common to go and camp out the night before?
I am going with my tax return in hand to try and find the best deal on parts I can and hear sat night is when all the good deals are. Oh and if any of you have a lead on parts I'm looking for either a complete drop bracket lift or a set of c/t beams and arms if theyre cheap enough. I just want to lift this beast and whatever I get a deal on will work. I'm not going to be dezert running it just local mountains like Big Bear or Cleghorn Ridge Trail.
