I can vouch for the Kavemans, great people to hang with, and easy going as can be. Anyways, did you decide to join us or what?
Still can't confirm Suzy's schedule so not positive. Unfortunately her work is such that we might not know until almost the last minute. Not the way I like to do things but I have learned to deal with it over the last couple years...
Fully understand sometimes thats my schedule too haha.....Hope it works out I like to put faces to the names of people on the board. Cant wait until thursday its been 9 months since i have been out in the dirt at all!

Ok - looks like we got the green light. To be honest I was slightly hoping she had to work so I'd have another full weekend to spend on the supercab (can't wait to get it running), but a race will be good.

Haven't been to a local race in 5 years or more. Heck - it's probably closer to 7 years  I'm gonna be lost out there. Good thing I'll have Tony to follow around - haha.

Time to get the race radio thrown in the Tacoma!

Awesome Steve!! By the way, no need for those Beams.... figured out a better option, you will see it on Saturday.

I am in like Flynn, leaving the house around 8am on Saturday morning. Also, planning on going up Friday to hang at contingency with the wife and kid. Will go up and back Friday, and then back up Saturday!

Dammmmm, is it race day yet......

Want to meet somewhere on the way up Tony? And is Chris meeting you somewhere on his way up?

As for the beams - cool. Kind of a bummer though as I was looking forward to getting them out of my shop for a bit - hahahaha

Yeah, if your crossing over on the 91, lets meet at the Shell gas station like we did last time.

I'll be leaving here early Saturday morning... I am about 2.25 hours away from the outlet center. Where are we meeting and where are the main pits? This will be my first Barstow race. I only plan being there for the day, when is the racing over?

According to Tony the other day race can go well into Sunday morning - 3 AM or so.

The other 2 questions I don't have the answer for. I was hoping to follow Tony or Chis up there as it has been so long since I've been to the Barstow/Johnson Valley area that I will treat this as if it was my 1st time

Hey guys, I frequent this spot..... We can meet in Ontario... off the 15 and 10 fwy, or we can meet in Apple Valley.

Steve, Chris is out by the way....

Race starts at 1pm, and it is a 500 miles race (well like 400+) so anticipate vehicles finishing through the night... I think there is a 1 or 14 hour time limit.

I'm confused, is this a Barstow race or Lucurne? I have been to the night race, is this in the same place?

Philo the race is in Lucerne Valley (Johnson Valley) not barstow. YOu can hit 247 from barstow and take it to camp rock road Start finish will be just past the dry lake to the right form amp rock road. We should be about 1/4 mile headed towards MM1. Looking forward to seeing you there.

Okay guys we ended up short a couple of bodies would anyone be willing to volunteer to be fuel handlers for the race in main? We need to take about 10gal each lap. If not we will manage. Cant wait for Thursday!

Philo there is also a back way in on camp rock road from the 41 I will try to look at the map to find it its all graded road very easy to come in on I have seen people use it in street cars I am just not sure how to hit it. Map quest has decent directions if you use camp rock road and 247

I can handle fuel in main if that's what you want. Without Chris coming though I'm not sure who would be out with Tony in the chase truck. Would I be better off doing that?

Steve, I am bringing my brother in law in my bronco. Jim, who is always out there chasing for Matt is coming out, he is driving my brothers bronco, and so it would be cool if you came and hung with us... reason I say that would be good is in case we need to go out and provide support on the back side, its always good to have extra hands.

Man.... I can not wait for the race!!!
