I swear you posted that someone was bringing fruit. Am I high?

I don't remember any dessert either... I was thinking of stopping at COSTCO and getting a mondo bag of cookies.

I also will have a pretty good supply of firewood and a generator. Head count still the same in my camp.

We are psyched!!! Our camp numbers remain at four. We're heading up on Friday morning and expect to be up there before 1500. I know Rick and Amber expected to get there by noon, so we'll meet up with them when we arrive.

We're bringing:
• John's 10x20 easy up
• my 10x10 easy up
• chairs
• quad
• Tiff's three wheeler
• I made a flag today for the radio antenna, so we're good there
• camera
• tools
• camp light
• Ice chest
• radios (VHF) for spotting
• tow strap & shackles
• our contribution to the Sat BBQ
• plus our camp stuff

Ok, I think that's it... if we're missing something, let me know...

Don, if you want to pack one less thing, you're welcome to use mine. It's a Honda 2500.

Rick, Are you taking your camp stove again? If you are I'd like to use yours and Nick's to cook breakfast.

Amber is doing some kind of birthday cake with Hostess snow Balls?????

My friend John P. is bringing stuff for strawberry shortcake. Yum. However you can't have too many desserts so if anyone wants to bring one I say bring it.

Philo, Your friends are more than welcome to eat with us. No one will be left out.

Everyone should bring there own drinks. Remember though NO glass bottles.

Still looking for another grill. We have two but with all the meat to cook one more would be nice.

I will be bringing my little camp stove and anyone that needs it is wecolme to it.

It looks like quite a few of us are getting there Friday and I was thinking of doing cheese burgers for Friday nights dinner. Who's up for that?

Maybe so. Is it big enough for a skillet and two big pots?

My younger brother and his girlfriend are joining us. They're bringing an extra Tri-Tip and helping me with breakfast. He also ordered sand tires for his RC car....

Ian is in. He's bringing paper towels.

The headcount for dinner is 46 right now. I'm calling it 50.

A few people have asked me what time we're eating. Rick, any idea? Are we just going to play it by ear?

Are we going to camp in one large group? If so, whoever gets there on friday needs to stake out a large area.

Reservation (and more) info here: http://www.gofastbroncos.com/forum/view ... ?f=4&t=832

From the above link:

FLAGS ARE MANDATORY ON ALL VEHICLES DRIVING ON THE DUNES

When: July 9-11

Where: Oceano Dunes

What? Broncos, sand, food and lots of B.S.

Potluck dinner on Saturday night. We need volunteers to bring supplies and side dishes.

Breakfast burritos Sunday morning.

Camping reservations: http://www.reserveamerica.com/camping/O ... earch=site

It costs $26 to reserve a camping pass for 2 nights. Even if you're not camping and even if you're not showing up until Saturday morning, it may be a good idea to reserve Friday and Saturday night. This guarantees you entrance to the beach all day Saturday and until Noon on Sunday. It's not uncommon for the beach entrance to be shut down (even for day use) on busy summer weekends. I can't say whether or not this will happen but $26 is cheap insurance.

Potluck:

Rough total of 47 as of now.

Rick & Amber: Meat!
Steve: Beans for dinner & fixin's for breakfast Burritos
Broncobob: Broccoli salad
Nick: Plates utensils, & cups
Dave G: sloughhouse sweet corn on the cob
BajaF250: Jule's famous Macaroni Salad
Billy1911: Mac and Cheese

Bondobob (2)
