Anyone else prepping for this?

I’m prepping forks and will go through my race bike for HuckFEAST… fresh powder coat and new plastics incoming.

For the right price, anything's possible.

Not that I know of, but I've never asked.

Unless the TSA changes it's policy, I can't visit. Bugger, another one I'll miss.

My bad. Had a reservation to visit, but TSA hasn't allowed us purebloods in, so I won't be coming. I was really hoping to get to this Huckfeast and catch up with some of you guys and girls, but maybe next year.

We've got one more day of rain here and then final HuckFEAST prep will go down.

As I said in the beginning, this ain't my show, just showing up.... Whoever is making the plan, fill me in. Or don't, and I'll just show up. With friends and drinks! Bondobob is sponsoring a trailer full of firewood, and Rugged is sponsoring coffee all weekend.

I'm surprised by the silence, or lack of interest. There were others that had come up with this idea, i only posted a thread so that we could plan. My apologies if i stepped on anyone's toes, or pissed anyone off for having done so.

All that said, this glorious rain has caused a few delays on the farm. Half of my field is pruned, and i have a lot more to do. So i'll be out.

I'm pretty sure all toes and piss are intact. If people want action on GFB, they gotta be part of the action....

Some places are a shite show around here with all the rain. Me and mine are good. The beach is gloriously wet and hardpacked... perfect for heavy pigs. We'll see what the next few days bring.

Hey Steve,

I've never been to Oceanu. What would be the best way to enjoy the trip if the rain going to be constant throughout the trip?

I'm planning on bringing my stock 96 F150 with a grandpa shell.

Hey Brother! I was just making a post on the ig account and was going to share here.
A Park Ranger told me the beach will likely be closed this weekend when the rain starts back up (supposed to start Friday).
We've gotten A LOT of rain and a lot of surrounding areas have either been (in the last 24 hours) or still are underwater and emergency services are spread thin. Soooo... I'm not sure. Still plenty to do in town assuming we don't get slammed the way we did over the last few days. if someone comes into town, let me know. If nothing else, and you're interested, you can swing by Rugged HQ for a tour and maybe we all go out to lunch or dinner or something....

If weather stays clear, we'll camp. Otherwise.. I don't know! Ha!

For us, it was mostly about the FEAST so, could be! Although, we have talked about building some ramps... haha!

Life has been throwing me some curve balls the last few weeks. I got no prep done with being sick for the entire month of December then the worst possible news came my Uncle passed away on 12/31. Family obligations come first right now and I will not be able to attend. I was going to offer up my camping reservation but I just received an e mail that the State of California will be closing the beach over the weekend due to high water expected in the creek. Sorry fellas I was really looking forward to resurrecting this event. Maybe next time.
IRONSCALES couldn't recognize this email as this is the first time you received an email from this sender Pismo.Camping @ parks.ca.gov

CLOSURE NOTICE | January 13th through 17th

As a result of recent storm activity and existing coastal conditions, camping reservations at Oceano Dunes SVRA have been canceled Friday, January 13th through Tuesday, January 17th. Impacted reservation holders will be contacted by Reserve California for refunds or reservation modifications.

Continued coastal and Arroyo Grande creek conditions are impacting Oceano Dunes SVRA access and recreational opportunities. Oceano Dunes SVRA will likely remain closed to public vehicle access until conditions improve. Pismo State Beach vehicle Day Use access between Grand Avenue and Arroyo Grande Creek may reopen daily as conditions allow.

Please follow us on Facebook for updated park conditions and thank you for your understanding.
