Is this trip gonna rock or what?? I am pumped!! Have talked to several people doing all kinds of things (wiring up lights, buying race radios, GPS's etc etc)!! Gonna be a great group!

I'm not one to make excuses but I do have a tendancy to whine some times. I'm not out of the woods yet but I work better under pressure anyway.

Yeah this trip is going to be epic for sure. I've got a feeling we're all in for a good time. A big at a boy to all of you guys setting this thing up. Your guys attention to detail and Tom's military precision has set the bar awefully high for the next trip. Keep up the good work.

P.S. If I do make it, and I will, you owe me a trip to Pismo. Its only fair.

Rick... Pismo, you got it! Fair enough.

Ok, update! We have commitment from Off Road Magazine. They are sending a photographer (who coincidentally owns a Bronco, but it isn't built yet) along with us to take pictures!! Turning out to be such an AWESOME event!!! Can not wait!!

Yeah its fixed. One of the five sensors in the exhaust system went bad and told the computer that the exhaust/DPF system was overheating and shut off the fuel. What a pain in the behind for such a simple thing. Note to self. Buy a scanner for crew cab.
That's awesome Rick... I'm glad you can make it... the trip wouldn't be the same with out you amigo!

I usually carry a 12" wood saw with me out on the trail. Will that be an issue with the Military/Federales? Never thought much of it in the past. S'pose it could be used to separate heads and limbs from bodies though. Hmmmmmm.

Hey B,
I haven't had any issues... but bring extra bail money, just in case...

Really, they are looking for illegal items, specifically guns, ammo, drugs and large sums of money.

Why are large sums of money illegal? How am I supposed to have a good time at Paris de Noche?

Looking forward to next week's BajaHID Excursion run. Thought I'd throw up some pics from El Oasis Orphanage. Big thanks to Todd Clement at HP Ranch who will hold onto our donations until Danny from El Oasis picks them up later that week.
