Hey guys.
I just got the green light for this trip.
Any room for one more Bronco?
Some questions:
-Are there any kids going? I might have to take my 3 year old.
-Are reservations necessary this time of year?
-Are you guys doing any crawling? I'm not really set up for hard core stuff.
Thanks in advance.

Decided to go "rollin dirty" without tags. We're gonna hook up the trailer and head up Thursday morning. Can't wait to get away with the family for a few days.

Kids rock and no rock crawling! Great to hear you are making it Yikes! Some four wheel drive needed, but generally just due to some steepness rather than rocks, so no worries.

Want cooling to be in good shape because of some long climbs so we can get up into some altitiude and cooler temps. Carbed rigs will know they are at altitude, but that's about it.

All the info for campground and run plans are in earlier posts so check it out. Love to know who all is in, so post up and we'll build a list.

Looking forward to showing off some beautiful country.

Greg

I am about 95% in for this trip this weekend. Nothing bent or broken at the moment. Not sure who I will have with me, should be able to find someone, maybe my dad.

Unfortunately I will not be there for this one like I wanted to be. Bronco is still waiting on some parts. Look forward to the pics and stories!

I'm going for sure. May also bring my brother in his Explorer. Leaving San Dimas early Friday morning.

Remember to let the campground know you're with the "Gofastbronco group" when you call to reserve your spot (or just show up). The idea is we'll be situated a little more together to help coordination and comradery.

Great to hear Don's going to make it over, as growing up here, he likely knows this country better than I.
Will swing into Browns CG Thursday evening to see what's up, but for late arrivals plan on meeting up about 8:30 Friday morning at the GFB campsites in Browns for a 9 am departure.

Won't be back in town until 3-4 o'clock so have a lunch packed and would be cool if everyone was already fueled up. Even though warm in the valley, have jackets for cooler high altitude temps. Yahoo!

Psyched to show off some amazing country!

Stopped by Brown's CG and informally set up block of sites next to the hookup site and dry site already reserved for us. Let them know you're with GFB and they will put you in one of those saved sites.
See you all soon, Greg

What radio frequencies are we running for the trip. Main and alternate? I also got my CB dialed in, so I have that option too

How about weatherman and BFG main as a backup.

Saw you drive in and out of the campground Greg.

Michael has brake issues in Victimville. Said he blew through a stop. He's taking the Bronco to a shop to diagnose the problem. Hoping for a quick fix and back on the road.

Was checking with the office to make sure fires are okay and I'll be bringing wood by this evening.
Didn't expect you there so soon and was heading in to town. Can't wait to sit around a campfire!
