Post by flyinbronco »

2018 Pismo Huckfeast at Oceano Dunes State OHV area. Jan. 13th and 14th. Anybody interested? I know it's not much notice but what the hell.

I will already be out there on the 13th and 14th morning. I’d love to catch up and talk shop with the old Bronco Speed guys.

Well, admittedly, I was not feeling it this year. Life is hectic and I was kind of hoping the date would come and go and no one would say anything. No such luck. flyinbronco said he wasn’t going to let little pissing and moaning make him break with tradition and pulled the trigger. Don Moss and fam also made it out... there was no way I was going to let them camp 4 miles from my house and not go play, so I dragged my ass out there.

Anyway, I owe them a thank you because even with Rick feeling under the weather, we had a great time... relaxed, caught up, played in the sand and had another fantastic meal on the beach.

Interest renewed. Next year is game on and everyone is invited.

As per usual, I took hardly any photos, but you’ll get the idea... sun, sand, toys and one of the best meals you’ll find in off road.

As always I had a great time even if I was feeling sickly. Thanks to everyone that made it out Steve and his girls, Don and family, and Tiff and Daniel. It was by far our worst turn out but the best people showed up. I can't wait for next year.

Here's a couple of pictures my buddy John took. He and his son Logan had a fantastic time wheeling with you guys in the Rugged company taxis, thanks for that.
Wish I had a video of Dan and Tiff wheeling the Ford Focus wagon up to the camp.....!

And the tide came way up Monday morning and flooded most of the camps that were along the beach. Made it interesting for those that were anxious to get out early. Drove right back into the fog bank when we got to the valley.

Bummed to have missed it again. Ever since it's moved to early January it overlaps with my family time in Oregon though. Maybe one day it'll all work. Until then I'll enjoy the pics & think back to fun ones in the past.
