CM Speed 71 Bronco

Post by ChaseTruck754 »

Eric asked me to post this so here goes. i had pics of this up somewhere a year or more ago, but since we have this fancy new "lightweights" section here I'll add to it...

This is a '71 Bronco my buddy built for a client and somehow ended up with it. I'm sure he's probably sell for the right price since he's got a bunch of other stuff, but on the other hand one of his 1st cars was an EB so he may not want to part with this one.

The rear fenders aren't done. They're a custom deal he was doing which I think he's making a mold for. I can ask if anyone may want a pair.

It's got a full cage, custom dash with tilt wheel and a custom gas tank they made in house. It's currently set up as a 3 seater using vintage seats they also make, but he has talked about making it back into a 2 seater.

AWESOME! Thanks! I actually had that 3rd pic as a background for awhile. Don't remember where I found it.

No problem. I think I may have had these pics in my thread, but I can't remember now. All I know is they are on here somewhere.

It's not really for sale so much as he "ended up with it" so I'm sure he'd be willing to sell it. There is a ton of $$ into the thing though so it wouldn't be cheap - that is for sure.

Now that fugly CJ5 in the background (which I'm surprised you didn't ask about) can be had for cheap!

Bought the wheels on Craigslist (after quite a bit of searching) cleaned them up and sent them out to have beadlocks added, then powdercoated the wheels. $$$

Please tell me the buttons on the steering wheel are for the horn. Or is he runnin nitrous like the imports? That is a wicked looking bronco, and I like the suspension setup.
I'm just here for the views. It helps me feel wanted.

Yup - and PTT if I remember right. No nausea juice on this thing - it's an NA 302.

Yup. LOTS of chicks I know LOVE that movie. And I guess a few guys do too - I'm definitely NOT one of them though - hence the title I gave the thing...

The pics I posted are what I have. Bronco is at his house & it's been a long while since I've been over there so it's not likely I'll get any more any time soon.

I want it!!!! That 71 is just way cool. Still has the old school look with the kidney bean wheels and the hard top but has the prerunner bumpers and fiberglass. Man I dig it big time!
