What did you use for the seam sealer?

Just 3M

Dynatron™ Auto Seam Sealer Caulk

Details
Brushable and paintable consistency makes applications easy
High adhesion works on both bare metal and painted surfaces
Fast skinning starts in about 10 to 15 minutes
Non-sagging formula keeps seam sealer in place
Non-staining
Dynatron™ Auto Seam Sealer Caulk is a fast-skinning, permanently elastic, non-sagging formulation that is brushable and paintable. Our sealer provides excellent adhesion to bare metal or painted surfaces and is a non-staining, all-purpose autobody joint and seam sealer.

Dynatron™ Auto Seam Sealer Caulk
Provides excellent adhesion to bare metal or painted surfacesVersatile Seam Sealer
Dynatron™ Auto Seam Sealer Caulk lay down well on both bare metal and painted surfaces. Our sealer offers high adhesion and has a thick consistency that makes it less likely to drip, sag or run out of the gap being sealed. It dries quickly with little shrinkage. Our sealer creates a water-tight repair that stay in place without cracking. Recommended applications include fresh welds, floor seams, trunk seams, drip rails, voids and gaps.

Easy to Use with Fast Results
Our seam sealer formula can be brushed or painted on with exceptionally high quality results. When desired, it can be feathered out to a thin layer. The sealer starts to skin in about 10 to 15 minutes and should be fully hard by the next day.

Benefits of Seam Sealer
Applying seam sealer can fill gaps and voids that otherwise could lead to water intrusion and eventual corrosion and rust. Seam sealer can also block moisture intrusion that can result in mildew and mold growth in certain areas.

Excellent, I have a feeling I will need a lot of that when I get to the bodywork on the Samurai.

I looked at what most new cars have been doing to help with noise and sealing up things. They seem to use a foam and silicone combo. The foam is much harder to use so I picked all silicone with Matt cover. I am trying to not only hear better but also keep bronco cool inside or warm as needed.

I know you get it. I would guess any silicone would work fine as needed. I will use this on the out side in some locations as well.

ok 43 miles of dirt then water pump said F you. so with tow 44.5 miles for dirt. I had some tubes turned ...Thanks Bret I might need more spring in rear.

A few things I learned. don't always think one way is the only way! make sure you look at "if I do this, that means this will be good, and this will be bad". This then needs to fit your driving style and usage.
dynamat style mat works well keeping heat out.
Reveres valve bodies are cool
large tires makes life easier.
The heavier the truck the more your bypass shocks like you with the correct springs in mind.

I like the SVO 408, I like the 5.43 gears I just added in rear in the dirt. The street will be the next test. haha

I was able to lift the front end with the motor and gears to stay on top of bumps. This worked well with my current front end set up and beam pivot location.

I ran the bronco with a spare tire and full fuel, so I still have weight to add in back. This is why I may need more spring .....we will see.

oh ya I am back in my comfort zone with a bronco style build.

more to come.

No pics/vid?

Spring rate is very important, a lot of cars are undersprung and work the shocks real hard to compensate.

I was having to much fun in the truck .....then broke....lmao

I have had a few examples for rates to use. but it is hard when it not apples to apples. I need to weight this thing maybe.
all 16 coil overs
2.5 c/o 350/550 F150 no bypass
2.5 c/o 450/500 bronco has bypass
400/550 2.5 c/o F150 has bypass
450/500 2.5 c/o stretch bronco

I know 3.0 C/O completely different

round 2.... last saturday

...I lost my starter, and I am very lucky I am liked by a few people....hah ....... I was found by multiple great people for help. Yes, Aaron I should have just sent you to the auto parts store as soon as you found me.

Drove bronco to the dirt then home the next day. stayed at Iroonwood hotel one night and it is fantastic.

I need to bring rear of the Bronco up 5 inches and it is to soft so spring will change. I have a new love for one off front ends. I will explain soon.
