Jonny and the boys have been cranking away on some other builds they needed to get finished. They jumped back on mine this week and started hanging my rear end. There is still a TON of stuff to do, we're in the beginning stages still. My short block is at Total Performance and I'm told they will finish that up in the next week or so. I still need to order the AFR's, fuel injection system and accessory drive among other mi$c parts throughout the build. Even when all the fab work and engine is done I still have to plumb and wire  I have to be realistic with my expectations... Next season would be awesome, but I'm not counting on it.
That makes sense. With the quality of the way you are doing things it takes time, and no sense in rushing and not doing it perfect. I look forward to following the rest of your build, I am a big fan of what you are doing. I have heard good things about Total Performance, is it Greg over there?

Thanks! It's definitely a dream come true for me! Yeah Greg has been great so far. I text him all the time with questions and he always responds or calls me back. He spent 30+ minutes on the phone going over my goals, assessing my options and getting a game plan before I even brought it to him. No real complaint so far other than they do take a very long time. I'm obviously in no hurry so it's not an issue for me at all really. They are really busy building race car/truck engines, so unfortunately us little guys have to wait. I guess you can't (or shouldn't) rush a quality engine build. My buddy Joe Glenwinkel won the 2014 NMCA championship in his dragster after switching to Total Performance. He had tons of issues with a couple other shops and has had really good luck with them.

Well I hope to have some updates here in the next few weeks. I love a build thread with lots of pictures, so I try to flood mine with them. Keep ya posted!

Also, he's working on welding up my new GFO/blitzkrieg trailing arms. They are the same ones on the black bronco and the ranger in the shop. Can't wait to see them all TIG'd up!
