So went ahead and cleaned up the sheet metal edges and prepped for Raptor liner. Used bottle and a 1/2 per side. Pretty happy with the turn out, stuff seems pretty thick. Charged up shocks, bumps and she’s getting closer. ImageImageImageImage

Thanks !! Should be getting the trailer early next week, I have so many great ideas on how to design this trailer. I should have to carry nothing inside the Bronco but people and beer

So the prep was worth I think, Protecting everything from the Raptor liner took some time. But in the end I’m pretty happy with the cargo area.

Move onto the front half tomorrow, have to finish the cage paint, sound deadener then top it off with the last bottle of liner. That’s should finish the floor so we can reinstall the center console and wiring.

Topped it with a wheel I picked up from Taylor about 8 months ago. I now have Zero play in my steering, sooooo nice. Added a bigger pan so 18 quarts for the tranny and ruffly 2 for the transfer case she was back on the road. I'll check fluid in the morning and add if needed. Oh and a 87-91 bronco does NOT need a VSS kit.

How you doin ! The column was an eBay purchase. Some company that rebuilds, super simple install actually. Hardest part was connect to steering box shaft, just replaced that too lol.

My bad... I was referring to your wheels bolts and nuts (zinc plated), what size are they and where did you get them? Thanks.

That’s what I thought actually, the studs are 5/8” and the lugs are from solo motorsports. They come in 2 different lengths. They are a must when drilling out your rims for bigger set up.

Big steps on the electrical, love having the long afternoons again. Moved fuse panel to be more accessible, basically built everything into console. Image

So after full sound deadener, 1/2” pad then the carpet with pad I’m very Happy with the “lack of sound”. Needless to say the few weeks it took to completely seal the cab and insulate, was worth it.

Need boosters ! Image

Replaced both power lock actuators tonight, insulted doors. Replaced trailer brakes and now the “Prelander” is ready for the weekend. Stoked to finally get out and play.
