The VSS signal runs through the ABS computer. You need to jump the wires or plug the comp back in.

I used the info in this thread to not only jump the VSS wires needed but also trace back and delete all the other unnecessary wire, relays etc. and get rid of the whole abs harness.

Re: Andy (eoffroader's) 94 build
So basically you cut wire #14 and attach it to # 21 - #21 stays attached to that plug I am presuming - do the with #39 and attach it to #22 and leave #22 connected to the computer plug. That technically disables everything - then just do through and pull the wiring out which should just slowly all come out in 1 piece??

Re: Andy (eoffroader's) 94 build
Well spun a bearing time to ditch the 5.0 and throw in a 351. Just doing a mild cam for now as budget doesn't alow a 408 yet. Question is I've been researching and some people say they used the 5.0 ecu and had no issues and some say you have to tune it for the 351. Anybody have solid info on this?

I'm currently running a 5.0 ecu on a 5.8 with no issues.
