Dang boy! Some cool seats and the tube wrap is awesome too.
Re: John's 91 GFB
Final few items getting done. Going to wrap next week, Offroad expo, then hopefully dyno and resting in a few weeks.

Re: John's 91 GFB
Thanks guys. No more pics as of now, bronco is off to be wrapped then heading up to the Offroad expo so once it’s back I’ll get some more pictures of the rear window for you.AussieRod wrote:Ditto!yikes wrote:Love that back window! Any more pictures?

Thanks guys. It’s pretty crazy to see how far this thing has come. Super close to being there. I had not seen the bronco in person for a few weeks and a lot has been done during that time. I went up to the Offroad expo with my son and got to check it out.

Wiring is nearly complete, dash unit is the last to go. I am glad I will finally have a full chassis harness on this thing. Had a few random setbacks with wiring, the paddle shift master control unit had some type of electrical issue and went up in smoke once power was sent to it. Luckily the company has amazing customer support and recognized it was a defect so it was repaired immediately and is now in and working. Bad luck continued with a bad PMU for the ecu master system. They also have good custom support and have sent a replacement that should be here today or tomorrow. Without any more setbacks Sunday in plaster city will be the first official shakedown with all the changes.

If I don’t make the Barstow trip I will be there Sunday dude !! Might stop by Vildosola tomorrow to get a peak of your progress, nothing but quality work comes out of that shop.

I like those door panels and rear window!
Re: John's 91 GFB
Thanks. I am very happy with those they turned out. Building a new frame for the rear window to get is sealed better and then it should be set.Stan the Man wrote:I like those door panels and rear window!
Re: John's 91 GFB
Well 2nd year in a row I did not make the Desolate run. Came somewhat close but it just wasn't meant to be. Tried to get a desolate rejects run going in plaster city on Sunday but at about 9:30 the night before just when it looked like I was going to make it something inside the master shift control unit broke. I did not have a winters/art Carr ready as a backup but I will now. I am going to remove the bump shifter as it relies on the same control box as the paddle shifters, and will replace it with a winters shifter. I will run the cable and just leave down below (attached to something) and if the paddle shifter ever goes out I will just need to change cable linkages and be up and running. I won't let this crap luck or crap technology keep me from going out for Halloween.

I think simple went out the window when the back half was cut off!!! And it has been nothing but bad decisions since then too.AussieRod wrote:KISS, John, KISS. (Keep It Simple, Stupid).
