I want to say my bench is 42", same as the stock bench

Thanks David. I am very curious to see how the overall look is when it’s all done. I too like what they did with the cut and sliding it back. Jesse Winchel had that idea for strength, he is the one who did all the sheet metal work as well. Very happy with his work and input on the shell.

On a side note. I need another radio from you. I’ll give you a call this weekend.
Cool, let me know what you need and I will get one ready to go.

Mine is 42" definitely a little narrower the stock bench but plenty of space for two adults

I like yours a lot. I have looked through your build thread many times. When I say small bench I guess I mean 36-42” and not two the ability for two full size buckets. We have the 36” bench pictured in mine, the 7 tube bypasses costs us a little room, plus I didn’t custom build the orientation of the tubes so that could have cost a little room as well. It will be snug but two thin adults can fit!

Snug is good when in a bench though. Thanks for the compliment. Yours has me wanting to cut mine up and start over haha

Goal is to have it running by this weekend, limp it onto the trailer then off to body work next week. Decided I need to get wiring under control before interior, it’s a complete disaster right now. Interior will be pushed off a month or two but I’ll get out and test it as soon as it’s back.

This round of major fab work is done. It’s off to the fiberglass guys tomorrow and then body work and paint.

Still haven’t decided on the color. It’s down to two. Lead foot grey or lightning blue. I really can’t decide, might just let the paint guys flip a coin.

VikDok built this slick mount for the rear A/C unit. I was able to wedge the larger unit up front so this thing should be ice cold, that’s what Lee has promised!

Another pending decision here. Steel it coating on everything or mix in some linex.

What happened with the bedsides? Seems like they should have been the perfect fit without any mods.

The retro bronco was a 12” stretch I believe vs the 14” we did and then on top of that the wheelbase on the retro must have been 2-4” shorter than mine. I thought it would be pretty much perfect too but it wasn’t even close.

Do you remember the specs on the retro bronco wheelbase?

Thanks to my good buddy Jason and his crew down at Fiberwerx we are very close. Paint is happening Monday-Wednesday and then a few final prep items and we should have our first shakedown in plaster city a week from tomorrow. I am beyond excited. A little nervous too, hope this was all worth it.

Willie is right I have been slacking on posting because I’ve been having too much fun driving the bronco!!! Jason and the boys at Fiberwerx killed it on the bedsides, body work for the stretch and the paint. I am super stoked on the blue.
