Bronco looks amazing !! I’m curious on running leadnav on 2 iPads at once, probably no big deal state side. I guess one could have Netflix going lol.

Motor harness and computer are in and ready to go. Vik made this firewall grommet and we decided to bring it through the center of the firewall.

Extremely close now on the front end, just need to build the bumper and button up a few things. The motor harness is all in and hooked up and she is full of fluids. We should be starting the LS3 for the first time Saturday. Goal is to have it at the interior shop Wednesday.

Thanks man. Plan is for full interior front to back, carpet, headliner with the foam fill so half the tubes are exposed, dash and all. I can’t wait been wanting interior for a very long time.

I’m thinking black on the dash, maybe grey carpet. Not 100% sure on color or quality of materials. Marine vinyl holds up well and easy to clean, high quality stuff is a potential but I’m leaning towards marine grade.

Well the bronco is officially running and somewhat driveable. The paddle shifters aren’t programmed yet so I have my old art carr hooked up just laying in the cab. So it will get it on the trailer and into upholstery shop but that’s about it.

With the dual intake we didn’t have the necessary 10-12” for the MAF sensor and it would not idle without it. So for now made a quick single side intake and installed the MAF sensor and it runs like a dream. Sounds pretty wicked too.

Before testing I will need to get it on a dyno and tune it speed density omitting the MAF and relying on the VE table.

Any good tuner recommendations in greater San Diego?

I got a sneak peak of the bumper. Valance will go from top to bottom tube and have cut out for lights.

Thanks. Definitely my dream bronco coming to life. I am getting pretty excited to get this thing in the dirt again! The LS3 swap was not all that bad once we got a few details figured out. We had to make a minor change to the autofab motor mounts, but autofab incorporated this change so anyone doing it now doesn't have to worry they will work well.

The only real issue we had was getting the accessory drive package to fit, the first few we tried the A/C was not in the right spot and would not work so we finally tried a brand new setup from Holley (at the time we were waiting for it to come out), I believe its called the mid mount kit. Once we went with that everything fit perfect and we were off and running. We really didn’t have any other issues.

We used a motor harness and computer from Turn Key, complete plug n play so once the motor was in it fired right up. Initially it ran like crap but we didn't have the MAF hooked up because of the dual intake (didn't have the 10-12" needed). I need a speed density tune now which I was not planning on. We made a temporary single intake with the MAF and no problems now, runs perfect.

I might be forgetting a few things, but anything else was very minor. I would say we are 90% of the way there. Its driving onto the trailer and into the interior shop tomorrow. Feel free to send me a DM if you have any specific questions.

DAMN, this truck is turning out sooooooooo nice! And now you really have me rethinking the Steelit paint. Did your LS3 come with a corvette oil pan or you mentioned the truck pan that didn't fit? I was hoping there was enough room to use the corvette pan that came on my LS3. I will be making my own engine mounts, but that also depends on how far back I can mount the engine yet still have a decent length on the rear driveshaft. Your build is really giving me more motivation to get back to work on mine.

Thanks I am thrilled with how it’s turning out. I am a huge fan of steel it. Really nice to be able to touch things up easily too.

My LS3 has a truck pan which didn’t clear the crossmember. I think the corvette pan should clear. Good luck with your swap.
