First post LeDuc upgrade. I had stock slider adapter brackets Tig welded from 2"x.375 flat stock. I'm really happy with how they turned out.

Installed a factory 92 -96 center console jump seat between the Sparcos so my girl can be where she belongs on those long road trips. You guys will have to excuse the seat covers on the Sparcos. They'll keep them from fading in the sun and enticing the ever opportunistic a-holes out there who like to steal other people's dreams in progress.

Need some advice. I got my hands on a 110 watt Motorola/Maratrac race radio yesterday. Where is the best place to mount the remote faceplate? Where is the best place to mount the giant box I can only assume is the head unit?

My brick paver lives on the floor behind my driver seat under a floor mat.

I used Aerocatch Extreme locking hood pins. If any of you are planning to use Aerocatch pins; you'll more than likely need to purchase longer mounting bolts. The size I used was M4 x 25mm countersink.

I've been wondering, would the brick paver be okay if it were mounted underneath the floor and the wires ran through a grommet?

I've never had an issues with heat or anything like that... Unless you are referring to mounting it literally under the bed floor like exposed to the elements. I wouldn't do that.

I was thinking about it. Not, so much worried about heat or anything like that. Its more about trying to be as effectient with space as possible. Thinking about exposure to the elements was why I asked the question.

Id build a false floor in the back where the rear passengers feet would go before i did that. It is all flat so you could hide an amp for stereo, radio paver and whatever else you would need. I have my sub amp and race radio box back there in that spot.

I mounted mine of the inside of the quarter panel in back. May even work behind the plastic if you have full interior still.Image

Under the rear seat or rear corner pockets work best.

Any reason for why you chose the passengersidevs the driverside? I am thinking about mounting on the driverside.

I only have one battery and it located right there, easy wiring. Also the same space on the other side is where I put my tool bags. I'm not always gentle about putting them on there.
