I had a buddy come up and we decided to take the Bronco out and advantage of the weather today! Oh, and today was my very first four wheel drive excursion!

It's off Sierra and the 15 freeway. There's a really nice outdoor range out there operated by West End Gun Club. They were closed but there was a trail open my buddy and I decided to check out.ChaseTruck754 wrote:is that up off Ortega Highway?

Re: The Chief's Clever Bronco
Drivong the other night I was informed that my passenger taillight was out; so I figured this was a great time to upgrade!
But then I encountered my very first head scratcher. With my new tailights installed, not only did the passenger side not work but when the right turn signal is on there is a small bit of current passed to the left turn signal. When the left turn signal is on the left turn signal is as it should be. Does anybody out there have a clue what's going on cuz I'm stumped?

Re: The Chief's Clever Bronco
I had the polarity switched going into the LED light. So the current was attempting to go backwards through the diode; causing the bleed of the excess current into the ground. I only came to find this out after a lengthy discussion on electricity with RMC. Unfortunately, my knowledge of electricity is amatuer at best but that is only for now. I'm learning more and more.

you aren't the only one who was thinking a ground or "earth" in crazy, downunder lingo when reading the above.

Re: The Chief's Clever Bronco
Had a great time at KOH with all the guys there!
Stage 1 is almost complete!
Had to at least wash them or never hear the end of it from Tony. Lol
Now I just need to sort out relocating my HID harness so that it's more secure and better protected.-

All done with my Autofab glass install and HID rewire! Going to plasti-dip her in the next week or two.

Re: The Chief's Clever Bronco
Yes sir! She definitely needs it! The best thing about autfav stock width glass is that no one knows it's glass once painted!tcm glx wrote:Slap some paint on her!
I'm going to try my hand at plasti-dip. I have to double check the type of black I have. I think I may have 4 gallons of gloss. I know I have 4 gallons of satin/flat black. If I have both I am going to try and do a two tone with gloss accents and pearl satin black.

Re: The Chief's Clever Bronco
Thanks bud! After being on some of the narrow trails at KOH, i am definitely glad i have always wanted to stay stock width. I can't wait to flay down the plasti-dip that I have for her. i hope it turns out well. Then Stage 1 will be complete. However, be on the lookout for the start of Stage 2. It's going to be here faster than I think.93Broncobuff wrote:This Thing is soooo dank bro!!!!! coming along nice!!!! That glass makes me second guess my widened susp..... sooo clean!
