Yea those are from Gary's bronco, I bought the front and rear. I actually removed the winch, it was mounted to a piece of 1/2 plate that goes from rail to rail. I'll take a pic tomorrow to show ya

Thanks for the positive feed back guys!
So I'm building my 9 inch as I have mentioned and I was curious if anyone is running a quality set of axles with a spool and if they have had any trouble? Or breaking axles and such. I don't beat one car extremely hard but I do enjoy pushing it a bit. These are the axles I will be running. http://m.summitracing.com/parts/MGR-MG25102

Why not go to 35 spline? You have the big bearing case and if your going to buy axles now is the time to do it.

I agree with Brian. Bigger is better when it comes to axel shafts for sure. Especially non floater.

OK I did some research, 35 spline axles are way out of the budget. I couldn't agree more that 35 spline would be far superior but the old bank account says otherwise! Lol I called currie and Dutchman, I'm looking at anywhere from 6 to 8 hundred bucks.

They must have raised prices it was a little over $400 when I bought mine a few years back. But I did supply studs. I still think it worth "finding" the money. I think the rear end is pivotal in a reliable rig. Currie bare 35s shafts are $368. The 31s you posted are $200 ($100 each) the bearings, seals, studs are all gonna be the same cost. Your looking at $170 dollar difference.
