I just priced semi floater custom axles at Dutchman at $460 with 5/8 circle track studs and all the bearings, seals and retainer plates installed. The width was up to 34" per side putting the axle more than 68" wide. And only a few bucks more to go even wider.

Hunt the net--35 spline axles are not too far off cost wise. Differential parts are literally the same cost today as they were 15 years ago. You do run into the suggested retail price guys that are trying to whack your guts out! Make sure you peruse eBay as many sellers on there have phone numbers that you can call and get even better deals direct.
