I mentioned earlier seeing some movement from the stock hood that I wasnt a big fan of.

Also that my wider Alcoas were doing more than massaging my stock fenders.

Guess I wasn't too heartbroken to find that I smashed the fenders up fairly thoroughly, especially the pass side.

Ran it by a collision shop before I brought it to Richer to have Jonny and CHO take a look- and it all checked out.

Cab stayed straight, and doors all aligned up. Only prob is pass fender is impeding the door, as it was pushed back.

Hi Bray! Amazing build you have here. Just found this thread since I'm late to the party however I have some +1.5 TTB ordered from Andrew CHO and other stuff from Richer. Super excited to get all the stuff. What wheel fitment caused the tire contact with your OEM fenders and 35x12.5x17s? I am about to order wheels and was hoping to make the best choice. Thanks!

Hi Bray,

The battery mount you have installed here, was this from Richer custom or did you pick it up somewhere else? In the process of making some space under my hood and like the direction you took here.

Thank you in advance,
Jason

Long time no post, sorry for delayed response Fils and JHJ.

Fils, those were the 15 x 8 alcoa race prototype wheels and 35" BFGs- but the ht I took was the reason for the fender contact. wasnt rubbing before that incident.

Jason, I battery tray is a Ruff Stuff piece that CHO and Richer Racing incorporated into the engine cage. Nice and tidy. I picked up another to mount an aux battery in the cargo hold.
I'll get some pics up in the next few days.

Time for 3.0" shocks out back. Will be nice to get some tuning time in this season and get it all dialed in

Fresh set of leaf springs- these feature more leafs than the J40s they're replacing, and have a reversed eye design to keep the spring from going negative early into bump and help avoid catastrophic failure.
they are also still 3" wide and built for a rig that weights well over 6k. This rig should sit around 6250 all loaded up so i'll need it.

shackles, shackle hangers and front spring hanger from Desolate. No more 20 yrs old stock rivets holding things together.
grade 8 and fresh bushings

Got some of the lighting sorted out and a gameplan for the top bumper plate.

snuck a 30" S8 in behind the grille and trying out some Squadron Pros on the A-Pillars.
I'll get some shots later this week, Rago Fab makes a pretty nice piece for mounting these.

That 40" Onyx will be on the front bumper with mounts for a pair of XL80s up above the bar- similar to this set up

some ideas on the inside before she goes off to interior

door bags by Darren from AutoFab in-

Cesar working on a door panel alternative to the plastic stuff out there as well....

Image

also mocking up the new center console- I hear it's good for 50 cans of soda

it will end up about 2.5" lower and inline with the armrests.

plan is to upholster a pad to match the interior and make it all match when the time comes
