What axle is on there now that you are replacing? The stock 8.8?

Current axle is a Summer Bros trussed 9 inch semi float. 5/8 studs, 4.56s, some kind of LSD. Housing is bent. Will be available soon for someone who has the skills to straighten it.

Hmmmmm, very tempting. What's the WMS to WMS width?

Dont know off the top of my head. Once its out Ill measure but its basically stock width. Forgot it also has Currie axles but cant remember the material. The new rear end is 4 inches wider to match the extended beams

Ahhhh, shoots, was hoping it was wider also. Been looking for something to match my 4.5" over frontend.

Things are starting to come together.

Adapting the NP205 for mating to the 4L80 trans.
Yukon 3rd member in the Currie housing.
Geiser Bros pinion skid plate and sun visors, but with Geiser parts the Bronco will officially be a TT.

Had no room under the hood so the trans cooler had to go under the truck

Geiser Bros pinion skidplate means its officially a TT

Cant get over how badass full floater hubs look.

Cant wait to beat on it at the 500

Did you contact them for the pinion skid? Or did you get it used?

They are about 20 minutes from where I live so I just went by the shop and bought it. Geiser Bros actually make and sell a fair amount of parts these days. Front TT hubs, misalignment spacers, body mount discs, bump cans, sway bar ends, etc.

Weld on steel skid plate for an NP205. Overkill is Under Rated.

Didnt need it for protection, but the case hangs a bit low so I wanted to so I could slide over stuff, instead of hanging up.

While Finishline Racing did all the work, I also have to thank Philo as he helped a ton sourcing parts an making this odd combo work.

Had issues figuring how to program the trans and some leaky gaskets in the new engine. All good now but that ate up the test time. Baja Bound in 12 hours. Will shake it down on course

Smitty at Finishline make a small still for the engine compartment today so I can make shine while driving.
