95_Bronco wrote:we just did that on my bumper because some jerks took my 3 kragen HIDS. Mine were cheap compared to what you have though. Im going to have a bolt that runs through lust like yours but have the nut be a saftey lug nut. i think hella sells it just for lights also
I was thinking about drilling a hole though the bolt and using a small lock or something. Lightforce sells to security nuts too but they could just leave the base and take off the bolt at the other adjustment.

What do I use to slide in that hole to make it removable? Just a piece of tube that fits ID or some sort of solid metal? If solid, where would I get something like that?

Washed the truck for the first time since Baja 1000 in November. haha

Got the fenders painted. Still need to take it back for lower bronze (and thinking blend). The california paint is now water based (vs. solvent based) and the painter warned me it wouldn't match without blending. I went cheap but now think I will blend.

I took some pics then decided tp pull chrome around rear wheel well. It was late so pic sucks. Sorry.

Thanks. Now to get the front bumper done. Then install the C&T's and extended arms I picked up after I source either a temporary add a leaf or a deaver pack.

In my defense, it has rained ALOT recently. That big bird shit on the hood even washed off by itself. hahaha

Tony, the inside STILL hasn't been cleaned (you throw up yet?). Maybe I'll blow all the dust out tonight when I get home and wipe everything down.......then again.....maybe not. :D

As I told you at the swap meet Tony - my brother only washed his 85 Toyota ONCE in the 3 years he owned it and that was the day before he sold it!

My ranger got washed maybe once every year when it was driving around.

My Tacoma gets washed every 3-6 months depending on my mood.

Sure none of them are as sparkly and nice as the princess, but it's a freakin TRUCK

A guy I know from when I worked at All American Racers in Santa Ana is doing it. He has a 2004 F150 he has done all himself (kings and air bumps all four corners, bed cage, etc).

UPDATE:

truck is at Pirate in Riverside/Corona today getting front bumper started. I am on a budget so not sure where it will end up but expect a couple trips to them over the next couple weeks to get it complete. I'll post up some pics when I get it back (today or tomorrow). Once the bumper is done, I'll start saving for some 9100's for the front and get the coil buckets/radius arms on that I bought.

Pirate does great work and I can't wait to see what got done today!!! Hell, the manager of Pirate lives near me so I dropped off my truck to him last night and he drove it in for me to the shop today, saving me taking time off work and needing a ride back.

OK. Still not done but closer. Figured I'd throw up some pics and get some ideas. They still need to add a lower brace for the skid (after I decide on a skid shape and size) and we need to figure out a cool way to mount a removable light bar for my lightforce lights. Bumper is on (very similar to Tonys) and HUGE thanks to pirate lab in Corona. They were originally going to mount my main tube but plans changed and I ended up getting a completely new bumper. The main tube is 2" vs. my was 1.75". They were great with keeping me informed and I basically told them to do what they thought would look good and I'm glad I just let them do what they do. I'll attach a pic of my original tube on the one they made. Theirs looks tons better in my opinion. The one I had looked to sit too close to body at the corners (and stuck out past fenders a bit). Enough talking.....pics.
