Feeling very fortunate to have this trans Steve. As much as the OE 96 seems to be working good with the Punisher, it has many miles and we don't feel like being stuck in the middle of Baja if it decided to go down. Now when we get to the stroker we'll only need a new rear end to hold it.

I just realized the word "only" is more of a dream than reality in this hobby......

Holy cow, that is sweet Jim!! I'm sure that Trans will last you a good long time.

What are you doing with the 96 that's in there now?

Equipped to do so any time we want, but going to run it OE on the column for now. John says this trans will be as docile or full race as we want it to be.

The Winters removal was designed to keep the operation exactly docile, but with bulletproof performance and reliability.

Sorry I missed the question earlier Tony. The old one goes back in the crate and ships back to John.

The price is nothing secret so here it is Brian. Although I do have a build sheet, John might prefer the spec remain elusive. With respect for his work I'm going to keep it locked up.....assume you understand.

Many parts including the billet converter are either built specifically for him or machined by John himself, so they won't be available to anyone else including me even if they knew the parts.

Why did you put the outlet for the waterpump on the passenger side?

It's a dual pass radiator. Inlet & outlet are one the same side as the tank(s) are split in 2. The fluid goes in and across the fins once, then back across the fins again before heading back out, so inlet/outlet = same side.

Correct. This is 5 row dual pass. Lots of capability to have cool stuff with a custom radiator.....motor oil heat exchanger on the left side, 3/8" bung for drain valve, intake water connection, grounding hub and mandrel 45 top hose connection for more direct route. Not taking any chances Jim & Paige's Bronco will ever heat again, at idle for 30 minutes with the A/C on or buried in the silt pedal to the wood.

Speaking of not taking chances, our Fluidyne trans cooler showed up today. No way we're going to risk the new E4OD. Lots of work to be done before KOH.....
