the jeep guys swear by the synergy ball joints on their solid axles. However considering Chris Wilsons ttb ball joint ripped the knuckle out of the beam and the ball joint didn't fail means I will not be shelling out the monies for these unless I get independently wealthy soon. They do look awesomely strong though.

Not sure who did it originally but it might be Mexicali Chrome. The closest thing we've been able to find is Dupli-Color Engine Enamel #1650 Cast Coat Aluminum. Glad you like it......not sure if I do. Thanks.

I like a light machinery grey for drivetrain, chassis and suspension. It allows you to see and identify leaks easily and quickly (most of the time). Much easier than trying to find a fluid leak against a dark color.

Thanks guys. As you know this kind of thing takes forever Steve, but the end result is quite satisfying. Yes the GPS is HDS-8 Tony.....it fits super tight but looks just right. I mounted the fuse blocks tonight, and will wire them and the ground bus tomorrow night. Got lots of cool little pieces to bring this electrical to a close down south. 10 new laser engraved Contura V switches arrived today, the Autometer gauges are here and the switch box & radio/gauge box are being fabbed. Unfortunately the boxes won't be done in time to get powder coated and make the trip on Thursday, so I'll have to send them down to Spirit.

The Bronco and its radio want to see you too David.....looking forward to your "hardening" of the equipment so we can communicate without breakdowns. I'll have both STX and Dynaliner under the radio base as you suggested to keep the heat down before you see it.

We're close to desert testing!

Jim & Paige's Bronco has Spirit now! In the air and Jeremy's hands as I write......I asked them to take pics along the way. Way cool shop with off road heavys on one side and hot rods on the other. We decided to scrap the Beards and just go old school.

Think it's actually Spirit Design & Development. No matter......Jeremy has got the TTB thing more than covered.

Did you get the radio control head David?
