I knew that. That's why I quoted vintage, he said shackle so I knew he was thinking rear. Looks much better with those wheels btw. Keep up the good work.

well got the shock mounts and cross bars all tacked in yesterday. going to take the engine cage out today and finish up the welding.

A friend of mine owed me some money so i took his hood. had to fit it on last night to see how it all tied together. i like it. also had to make sure everything cleared under it.

I'd add triangle gussets to the outside of each tab. Ill draw you a pic. You could either make one big one to go over the top or 2 singles per side. Just trying to think of ideas to make your upper shock mount more stout due to the leverage agianst it.

I was going to box them in top and bottom. I tried to get the shocks further in bored but couldn't quite get tge angles of the shock right.

Yea there is. There looks to be a ton of room until you start mocking things up. My last build was a 4runner so it was even tighter, just never got around to building the engine cage just used the total chaos hoops.

I do like the 1 piece idea Rmc but its just not feasible do the rear mount being at the bend. Goint to cut out some gussets tomorrow for each side.

Well I'm hoping to get some work done on the beast this weekend. Been busy or sick every weekend for a month. I'd like to see her on her own weight again in a few weeks.
