Hey guys, been awhile since I posted anything and worked on the Bronco. I've been busy with other stuff. Anyways started back on the Bronco today. I decided to start installing the rear springs and shock mounts. Well shock mounts in but I ran into a problem with the rear springs. Do you have to move the rear hanger back when you install q80's? I'm using threats extended shackles. With the spring just hanging under their own weight my shackles are almost vertical. Thanks

So got the rear suspension mocked up and started on the front. I need to see if one of you guys can take a measurement for me. Since I'm going from a solid axle back to TTB, I need the measurement from that pin on the underside of the frame back to the axle centerline. Thanks in advance.

Here's a couple pictures of what I've done lately. I have to drop the shackle hanger down about an inch so the shackles will clear the body. Figured out where to mount the radius arms and bolted them on. Next will be the coilover mounts.

I know it's alittle late but for your axle center line question, usually
Most push the beams as far forward as possible for clearance. I would do that, then measure wheel base on each side and measure across to make sure everything is sqaure, and call it good to go.

Well finally getting some work done to the bronco. Got the engine cage mostly done, still need to add a cross over bar between the hoops. Manged to get the coil overs mounted today and picked up the new tires.

Looking good.

Are those 35" or 37"?

FOA c/o?

If so I'm running a very similar build out, and experience getting the parts!!!

I ran the wild peaks in a 35" (315/75r16) and loved them. Strong s.o.b. of a tire.

Well since the weather isn't cooperating, (to cold to ride my bike and not enough snow for the snowmobiles), I've started working on the bronco again. It's headed to my buddies shop to get the cage finished up and a couple other things. So in the mean time I decided to get the gears installed in the rear end and set the pinion angle. More pictures to come soon.

Thanks, I have family coming up here for the 4th of July with their sandrail. I told them I would have the bronco drivable by then, so now I have a deadline.
