So after many months the GF Gorilla #1 is getting revived! The '94 is getting sold ASAP. Started work on the GFG this weekend. Removed the rear bumper and hitch, took the K&N intake off the '94 and installed it on the GFG, and got my load of tubing for the front and rear bumper Monday! But the glaring issue is the transmission. It is slipping from 2nd to 3rd. That being said I found a '89 that looks identical to mine with a blown motor but a recently rebuilt tranny, but it seems like it is a C6. Is there anyone out there that has done this swap? I would have all the parts because I'll have the whole bronco. Is there anything I should watch out for?

Exactly. I'm a big guy and the interior is just more roomy on the '90.

I've always wondered if the square body was a little roomier inside. It looks like it when I check out picures.

Yeah. The door panels are much thinner and the kick panel by the drivers left foot doesn't stick out nearly as far.

So I picked up number 3 Sunday. A 1989 Eddie Bauer. Lots or good parts to harvest off it. Came with a Rancho 4 inch lift with extended radius arms, a premo hood (mines in bad shape), but most important is the c6 trans.

Don't plan on it. Going c&t. Going to use the radius arms and coils for now though I think.

Sure, for the right price. might be a little bit of time before I get to the point of getting them pulled though.

So this weekends project was a new rear bumper. I'm pretty stoked on how it turned out considering it's my first attempt at building a bumper.

Much better than the 1st bumper I ever made. We all start somewhere & you're off to a good start it seems.
