Re: 1990 Go Fast Gorilla
So another Bronco work day. The plan was to change the rear diff fluid, the transfer case fluid and a few other odds and ends. Well I immediately was derailed. The helpful previous owner had completely stripped out the drain plug on the t-case. I didn't have a replacement so I moved on to the diff. It appeared as if it had never been changed before. Then I found a couple little gifts inside. The nickel is for size comparison.

Death of the Gorilla?
So it's been a while since I have posted anything. As you saw the last was a pic of metal from the rear end. Wellsince that pic the transmission has also started to go. The cheapest place in the area is about 3k for a rebuild. This is a hard pill to swallow when I only paid 1800 for the truck. So the search begins for Gorilla 2.0.

C&T is the plan. As soon as I can get the old one sold. Don't know what else yet.
