Well picked up a few more things over the past few weeks, picked up some 2.5 14s 4 tube bypasses along with some double sheered knuckles that "dbmodels" through in ( big thumbs up), few things from Graveyard BRONCOs... door pins, Seedo gear for the stock 355 gears that are it and I purchased the gear for when I do the 488s. Some window door rubbers ( mine were completely shot) and the new door panels which should have been here today, wont be here till Wednesday.......AND a new ( 2 me) bench seat, free!

Oh and crawling under the bronco this weekend I found 6" long crack under the driver seat where my Farts ass sits, I'm thinking its been there for a long time as I hardly drive the Bronco and only have taken it mildly wheel n a few times. Another reason to have your seats welded to the cage I'm thinking.

Almost forgot, I pulled the stock rear bench out of the Bronco for the 1st. time....holycrap does that thing weighs a Shiat load. I must of gained a hundred horsepower and about 2 inches of more travel. The new seat feels about 2lbs compared to the engine block weight of the bench. Hell that's a second spare tire in the back I'm thinking.

I'm doing the same, the stock bench is a 2 man job. I can't wait for my mastercraft bench.

Woot woot! I got my door panels from Mr. Brown today, I was pleasantly surprised it was a perfect matching color of the OGs . It was kind of a crap shoot ordering, they had brown & light brown. The pics on JGB.... the brown was like super dark brown and the light brown, was tan. I was kind of ...well if any thing I can paint/stain them if they are not the same color. I went as far as going to my local Automotive paint supply here in Simi and brought a piece to match. The paint alone was almost as much as the door panels...not including the extras I would need to prep + tax & my labor. I was thinking it would have been better to have custom panels made at what I thought it was going to cost me. Luckily perfect match, very happy with the product and shipping time.

Now with this ever growing pile of parts I have to find time to get it done.... thinking it might be down a year at this point

Problem I'm having now is hiding all of this stuff from my Wife, wasn't bad at first a little here, a little there. I had a small pile in the garage , then some in the Shed, now its overflowing into the enclosed trailer.

Also not sure if I'm digging the 50s checker board fabric panels??? Think I might order some fabric from MasterCraft and have them made to look like the 3Gs pattern in the seat. What do you guys think? I would really like to of found tan/ brown seats, but it was such a smoken deal on the 3Gs I couldn't resist. Maybe when I win the lottery.

I'm pretty sure they do, I found them on Jeff's Graveyard Broncos and I thinks also on RockAuto, plus maybe even on Steel and Rubber products. I wish I had seen it earlier but the new panels came with the window sweeps which I had already purchased, so I might have a brand new set to sell. I'll let you know if I do, almost positive its the same 80-96.

That is cool. Ya, when I took out all my stock seats, I could not believe how heavy they were compared to my new Mastercraft seats.

15s . I think when I get all my glass on , I might switch to 17s and a 37 tire. I think the 15s will look a little lost in such a giant fender wheel opening. I have all Autofab glass so we will see when mounted.

With my Autofab glass, I'm loving my 17s more and more!

Well haven't really done much to the Bronco recently. A few more parts that I picked up, a CurrieF9 40 spline full floater, some wilwoods for all 4 corners, a Mark Wlliams spool through bolt center sections w/456 gears. Decided to go Spring under, so picked up a brand new set of 64s, now I'm wanting the Richer spring under perches. Kind of figuring out what I want to do for motor, keep it a 351w and go carb, this way I can still keep the e4od or c6? OR Cheby, I know... I know ford with a chevy, errrrr. Not sure its any cheaper.

The other thing I'm not sure what I want to do is is tear apart my perfectly good Bronco and do this extreme make over... so Ive been searching for a cheap bronco, 87-91 that maybe has a blown engine/tranny that mostly complete for cheap. I found quite a few for under a 1k, my thinking is If I start on this new bronco and still keep my running bronco so I have my fix of coolness still and then when I'm just about done, sell the good running bronco and try to recoup some of the funds??? Decisions, decisions.... Plus I already have so many trucks/ work truck etc. My wife will have a cow if I bring something else home. lol

Well luckily I havnt pulled it apart yet and its still a driver so I finally got to go use it last weekend. I took a solo trip up to the Sierra to do a little Fall fishing and see the colors of the Sierra and it was spectacular. So much so I'm gonna plan this every year. It was cool to get some ME time and think nothing other than the fishing and scenery. I have a few pictures, not the greatest as I have a Android phone ( next time I'm bringing the real camera!), Hope you enjoy!
