Almost but not there yet 96'
Almost but not there yet 96'
I bought this about a year and half ago. It was almost done when I got it. I had it gone through and had alot of small stuff fixed. I added new seats, harneses and steering wheel to the interior. Had the shocks rebuilt, new head lights, tail lights and all the aluminum powdercoated on the exterior. That's about it so far. I am having crb make a new aluminum dash and door panels. The suspension needs help and I might be changing it. I recently purchased a onboard compressor and gas and water cans. I want to get the cargo area set up with toolboxes, jack, gas cans, and a winch that can be used front or rear. After that I will have it painted anything but white or black. That's about it.

Nice truck. I think the truck looks GREAT as-is in the white. Not a fan of many of the "colored" ones I've seen. White looks so dang good on these things, and black makes anything look good.
Any thoughts on paint color or at this point is it really anything but?

This is exactly what I need. Can you tell me what the wheel and adapter are, as in part numbers? Where did you get them?donncdrc wrote:I added steering wheel to the interior.
I really can't stand the stock steering wheel and I'll relocate the cruise to the dash.....

Need more info please. I just called ORW Temecula because they're closest to me and questioned a guy about this. After calming him down about the airbag and telling him what you have is not a weld-on Howe quick release, he went limp on me.donncdrc wrote:The wheel is a Momo and I got it at ORW. Can you give me the part numbers off your invoice or tell me who you dealt with? Now I'm on the steering wheel rampage after seeing yours.

Re: Almost but not there yet 96'
Looks to be a momo wheel hub to me. It's for 92 & later F-150's and broncos most likely. Should be a 45xx part number. I want to say 4535 off the top of my head but that is probably wrong. They are discontinued & hard to find. I had one and sold it to a guy here about a year ago since I found the 4513 (91 & earlier F-150) one I was after.
Google will be your friend here & in research on this.
Also, in my ranger I was able to run a grant hub with an adapter to the momo 6 bolt wheel pattern (grant is a 5 bolt pattern) as momo didn't make a hub that fit my '89 ranger. That may be something to look into here as well.
Oh and just a tidbit of info in case something sparco comes into it - the momo & sparco 6 bolt patterns are the same bolt circle, but are rotated at 45* from each other if I remember right. So in looking at the wheel at dead center/wheels straight ahead momo would have a bolt at the 12 o'clock mark - whereas the Sparcos would have bolts at 11 o'clock and 1 o'clock. There are tons of cheap adapters to deal with this available on eBay.
*Ok - I'm feeling nice & avoiding working right now so here you go:
Wheel hub fitment list - Momo
http://www.hmsmotorsport.com/docs/Momo_ ... _Guide.pdf
4535 is what you want and was discontinued in 2005 it seems.
This guy has a bunch on ebay though. Not as cheap as "list" price is for them, but honestly it seems he just added $10 to list price & offered free shipping
http://www.ebay.com/itm/MOMO-Ford-F150- ... 1783wt_758
You may find a better deal if you look around a bit more or you may not. $75+ seems to be going rate for the discontinued hubs = pretty much what they cost new when they were available

Thanks for setting some of this straight. I owe your lost work a beer or six.ChaseTruck754 wrote:.....since I found the 4513 (91 & earlier F-150) one I was after.

I see the two Momo adapter models.....why did you want the 4513 instead of the 4535?

Because all my stuff is "older". 4513 fits what I've got.1Hondalover wrote:....why did you want the 4513 instead of the 4535?
I had grabbed the 4535 because I found it cheap & opportunity arose & I figured I may have a use for it one day or would know someone who did.
