I personally think youre wasting your money on a stock rebuild. Fix your cel and you will gain decent amount of power. Egr codes will rob power and fuel mileage.
You have a hard time spinning your tires due to all the weight over your axle. It creates traction.

If it were my truck id send it to a reputable dyno tune company and have your motor tuned. That will be 500$. Much cheaper then a motor you dont necessarily need.

Unfortunately the truck burns oil, has a head gasket blown, and miss fires pretty bad.
It's most definitely time for a new motor
And as far as not spinning my tires I say that because before the motor went down hill I had a decent amount of power and could break the tires loose like nothing, it has zero bottom end now

And Iv had the egr problem/codes since the trucks been together so I know that's not affecting the power, or I should say not affected the power I had

Bronco is up and running. About 150 miles into the break in so hopefully it stays running as good as it is!
Got my vacuume lines fixed to so my egr seems to be working since I don't have any check engine codes as of now.
Going to hit atleast 500 miles, change the oil then desert trip this weekend so we can see how she does

Thank you! Unfortunately it looks like my oil cooler that comes off the block that the oil filter screws into, has failed so I have it on order but I don't think I'll get it in time for the desert.
Looks like I'll just be taking my bike out which is a downer because we pushed so hard to get it ready for this weekends trip. oh well!

Or can't you bypass it. It's a heat exchanger not a cooler

So the bronco did good! Made it to the desert, off-roading, and back home with almost no issues. Only thing was I got a check engine light for code 172
Haven't looked to much into it. I saw it had something to do with my O2 sensor.
And I DEFINITELY need to get my ac working haha

I'm in need of some tranny cooler and gauge advice. Looking to get a nice one for the bronco and I don't know a thing about what size I need what brands are good where to mount It ect. So I'd appreciate any picture or advice on what to do and what to buy!

Also I'm thinking about taking off the fan and doing electric fans, thoughts on that?

I've heard more negatives than positives for electric fan for the radiator. I go with the if it's not broke don't fix it for that.

There are a bunch of different options for coolers. I managed to fit a 14"x10" CBR with shroud and 9" fan behind the grill with a good amount of trimming. I think that's about as big as you can go.

I don't know much on what makes one guage better than the other. I just got an autometer that was the closest match to my stock guages. The sender will go straight into the test port on the E4OD do it is a very simple install.

I can take some. Mine is plumbed in line with the factory cooler and bypasses the radiator. They are mounted side by side in front of the rad.
