My 95

So i bought this thing back in December I think. Got all my parts together so now I'm just waiting for it to be built! All fab work is being done by jeff moore at chassis fab. He's an awesome dude and great fabricator.
So anyways
95 351 Eddie Bauer. The sway aways bodys are black with red caps
Front end has solos 4 1/2 over beams with 14" 2.5 saw c/o's and 16" 2.5 saw tripple bypasses
In the rear will be deavers with 18" 3.0 saw tripple bypasses. Sitting on camburgs rear end 4"s over and camburgs 2.25 hubs.
Inside I have a 7" lowrance touch gps winters shifter with manuel vaulve body. I had 4 twisted stich seats made up for the interior colors I wanna do, grey and black with red stitching. Vintage air system 2" chromoly cage that ties into the engine cage. Back half of the cage is almost done so the front is going to get started on then onto suspension!
I also got the fiberwerx retro body with a little bit added to the clip since I thought it was a boring hood, I added louvers and a cowl and it looks awesome to me.
She will be on my 17" trail ready beadlocks with 37" generals.
And of course a fuel cell, front rear bumpers and a 50" light bar up top and smaller light bars on the front bumper. I plan on painting it a dark grey. Plan on two spares on back of the tailgate. Don't know if we can make it fit yet but 2 37 spares on back would look sweet and give me a lot more room inside since I plan on doing a system inside. Havnt figured it out yet but I think I want 2 12" subs in back and then my door speakers and somewhere on the side put 6x1/2s with a 8" sub or something. I already have a 7" touch 4400 pioneer stereo deck to go in the dash or center consol.
By the way if anyone is interested in bronco parts or even building a bronco pm me and ill get you Jeff's number he builds awesome stuff! He fabs up all his own stuff and it looks killer
For example deaver shackles and hangers fuel cell (I don't even know what to call it) but I guess it's a fuel cell cage with skid plate that goes under the truck. Shock mounts solid body mounts fiberglass mounts and he does all other trucks obviously.

Some things I'm looking to buy -
#1 - 9" 3rd member,I need it to be 35 or 40 spline. I have 40 spline drive plates but it's kinda over kill anyways so I can always go down to 35 and just get new drive plates. But so 35 or 40 spline and spool or locker. I know you can't get a 40 spline locker. And I am looking to get 513 gears.

#2 - jeep speed fuel cell

#3 - willwood or some other brand of brake calipers and rotors.

#4 - 2 brand new 37 generals.

Fenders and bumpers (stock) are for sale. Soon but not yet the gas tank and fuel system will be up for sale too.

Yeah I love it but the air forks are shit. Every 8 hours the seals went out and the forks went flat so I got the ohlins cartridge kit that changes it to springs and now it also doesn't wanna knife in on me in turns. It's my first 450 I was tired of having to mod out my 250 to keep up with all the other kids with factory bikes that are stupid fast haha but I'm 140 so a stock 450 doesn't need any motor mods for me

I haven't had any issues with my forks yet...I set them when I got it home from chaparral and then tuned them ....I still need a tank, pipe, and bars, I just got a skid plate and hour meter

Keep an eye on the forks. If you have any fluid on the forks don't ride. Trust me if the deal is leaking even a tiny bit they will go flat and it's really dangerous. Also put nitrogen in them. I dont know if you know but the air changes psi a ton due to cold or hot

Thanks! The shocks turned out better then I thought. I'm really happy because they match the whole color scheme I want. Black grey and red

Spool is cheapest. Cops frown on em though. I have a used 40 spline if u need one.

Yeah cus they squeel on turns around the street right? And around my town there's tons of hills and little crawling trails and my buddies have jeep n bronco crawlers so I think I want a locker so I can still keep up a little better in the hills haha. I just don't wanna get an air locker and have issues with the lines cus I read about a kit of problems

The airlocker would be the best of both worlds, ARBs are bullet proof, the key is airline routing, I wouldn't discount it, and I'd you are driving on the street it's obviously the easiest to live with as you can disconnect it.

The spool would be the roughest on tires on the street, during turns both tires have to turn the same amount even though they are covering different distances

The Detroit is a mix of both but has some drive ability quirks you'd have to adjust to on the street. If you are on the gas, you are locked so need to be careful around corners, and you may hear some loud pops and bangs as the unit 'slips'
