Ok so I have been hanging around here for awhile and finally decided to sell the explorer I was building and dive into a Bronco. I Just picked here up today after a few weeks of looking for some one in the Central valley who actually had the Title to the truck they were selling.

She is a 1989 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer 5.8

Plans are to keep it simple

Front:
4 over beams/ Radius Arms
14" 2.5 coil overs
Fiberglass fenders

Rear:
J40 Deavers
Shackles and hangers
12" 2.5's under the Floor

Now onto the pictures, Kind of crappy pictures cause it's dark out but here you go.

And the Explorer I just sold. I starting building it when I only have two kids, but ended up with three. So she needed to go to build a five seater.

Thanks man. I will cage it, but probably not until I take it out when everything else is done. I am shooting for mid october to have all the suspension done.

Looks like a solid start.. Saw the expo for sale on DR, if I had the room and the cash for another toy....

Good luck

So nothing to exciting, But I think I found about 300 Feet of wire under the carpet and dash. It looks like it was wired 3 different times for a sound system. It also had an alarm and remote start system. There was also wiring for an old school car phone. With the way most of the splices were done, I am astonished it did not burn to the ground years ago.

Yeah it was a very hard decision to make, but I really want for the whole family to go out together. Hopefully the bronco turns out as nice as my explorer did. Nothing like starting over. haha

Can anyone give some ball park shock valving? Single 2.5 coilover upfront and single smooth body 2.5 in the rear. Thanks

I got some updates worth posting finally, Spent about a week chasing down oil leaks and fixing a bunch of crap that I found in the process. Sold the wheels and tires off the bronco for $400, I found a set of Ford wheels that had some 31's on them for $300, then sold the 31's for $300. I thought it was a pretty sweet deal. haha, got to love Craigslist. Anyways ordered a set of 35 Km2's (only tire not back ordered right now), Picked up a set of Fox 2.5x12's for the front. Also got the passenger side beam done. Plans have changed a little, I am going stock width for now. The Wife is tired of me working on a project and wants to go out and play. Plus I can't bring my self to pay shipping on fenders again. Ok now on to the pictures. They are kinda crappy, camera battery died on me.

Yes they are. They were about an hour north of me. I was surprise to find them. It worked out good, I am tired of paying shipping on everything, drives the build cost up so much.
