6" camburg shackle
96 chase bronco
Ok so the rear cycles 18" strapped. 10" up travel and 8" down.
Things left to do before Glamis for Halloween are get my cargo area situated with jack, tire, powertank, tools and cooler mount. Then I need to tie in the core support cause it moves a ton offroad

Has anyone installed a 8" shackle on a bronco using the factory rear hanger? I want to lower the rear ride height down a bit as it sits to tall but don't want to waste money of it can't be done. This should also help with my negative arch a little bit.
Thanks,
Chris
Thanks,
Chris

I think you have to hack up the floor to put a shackle that long back there...but I may be wrong

Grab a tape measure and look under your truck. I think the stock shackle is around 5" or so. You should be able to fit a +1"-2" with minimal clearancing not going through the floor.

I'll probably be in the minority here, but I LOVE the way that thing is sitting... A little ass high works well surprisingly.

You have a sweet truck. What length bar is that? think you could get any night pictures up from inside the truck?

The bolt on bump cans and spring plates I believe are 450 or 500$. I can't remember. If your interested I can give you contact info.-JD5353- wrote:You have a sweet truck. What length bar is that? think you could get any night pictures up from inside the truck?
The bar is a 30" which is just temporary until my 40" arrives. As soon as I wire it up I'll take some pics and post them up.
Thanks for the compliments.

So here is the rim I'm considering going with. I like it cause it's something different. I'm just worried I won't like how they look after I purchase them... It sucks there is no easy way to test rims out before paying the big bucks.
Well anyways tell me all what ya think of them....

Cool looking wheel sitting there like that. Put it on a dirt truck and I don't know... I'd say photochop as well for a tester before you drop the coin
