Jose's 94
Jose's 94
I've been wanting to start a build thread but I haven't built anything really. So I'm going to call this my picture thread for now.
I'm using an iPad and tapatalk for the first time so let's see how this goes.
Here are some recent pics, front and rear fiberglass. Coilovers up front on stock beams with 2" spacers. Working on getting 4 over beams. Hopefully I get them sooner than later.
The rear has stock leafs with a 2" block and some little 10" fox's in the stock location. So on my immediate to-do list is find some deavers. I am hopefully in the process of getting some from a member here. (if I can talk him out of them).
I am still contemplating the whole cage thing. I really do want a cage, but the bronco is pulling DD duty so I can't put it down for any long period of time right now.
The interior is almost complete for the immediate future. 4 matching buckets, new headliner, and I am currently waiting to order a couple boxes of dynomat before getting the new carpet installed.
Ok I'm experimenting with these images and sizes so please go easy on me...
Here goes nothing.

Re: Jose's 94
Here's the earliest picture I can find of her. I thought I had a pic of when I first brought her home. But they must be saved somewhere else. So here she is in all her glory.

Looks good Jose! I have a set of C&T beams for sale, i could have them extended 4" if your interested. Very Cheap on Price for a GFB member. i'd just need your stock as a core.
dont PM me.. I don't get them on Taptalk
Re: Jose's 94
Thanks guys, the kind words mean a lot given the talent pool on this forum.
Andy I'll be pming you later today to discuss details...
D1cker1 I'm running fiberwerx 4.5" up front and glassworks 4" in the rear. There was a reason for this. I have a couple friends running all fiberwerx glass and a friend running all glassworks. I just picked what looked to me, the best fitting and thickest fronts, and the best fitting, thickest rears. And this is what I came up with.
The fitment isn't 100% I would have to say 85-90%, but its stronger than and fits better than inexpensive race glass. So I'm sure it will bring me years of enjoyment.
Josh not sure about the center console yet. Right now my girls can walk in and out, front to back with no issues. A full center console from back seats to the front seats, will probably lead to walking all over seats and on seats and that's just no going to cut it.
Plus I already cut up the frame I made originally.
Thanks again guys
Jose

Re: Jose's 94
awww the gremlins strike again.... serves me right, i've went way to long with no issues. And I was just saying how great she was running..yada yada yada. Lower radiator hose sprung a leak on my way to work this morning. Glad I stopped to top off and grab some monsters, I was only a couple miles from home. So i hauled ass home troubleshot the problem, jumped on my motorcycle, and was not a minute late for work.. the wifes gonna pick up both lower hoses for me at napa on her way home, so I should be back in business when i get home...
what a morning,
Jose

Thanks guys for all the kind words.
Just got done putting on the hose, not that big of a deal. But it did come 2 weeks to early. I had already planned on putting on new hoses, new radiator or flush old one, and new water pump and possibly new fan. Oh well.
Josh, it was freakin hot today riding home. Ride into work was awesome... But coming home I couldn't wait to get off that stupid bike. I hate doing it, but I split lanes alllllll the way home just so I could get inside..

Ok so after getting crap from greaselife about having a "cool guy" center console. I went back to the drawing board, and since then I have framed out 3 consoles. None of the looked the way I wanted. So I cut them up and started thinking outside the box.
I wanted one for the back seats, and the front. I framed one that went from the back seats all the way to the dash. Looked ok. But the space in the middle between front and back seats, looked and felt way to cramped. So I cut that in half, making one for the front and one for the rear. Not digging it to much. It looked to "industrial" and square. I scrapped those. Then came up with this idea.
I had originally planned on looking for a console from a ranger for the rear. I changed my mind moving towards a custom console. Full circle back to my original idea.
Rear is out of an explorer. And the front is out of an expedition. Still letting it grow on me. The color difference between the dash and console is kinda bugging me. But the seats and consoles match perfectly.
I don't know, I'll see what happens.
Thanks,
Jose
