I scored two bolt on diffs, one to put in the Bronco and another as a spare. My jig parts for the rear end are all machined up. Started welding the link parts together. Next on the list is fuel tank and crossmember removal & start cutting holes in the body.

Judging by the pics looks like about a 8-10 stretch? What's the plan for glass? That is the one thing I regret, not biting the bullet on a stretch.

The gold ones are Alcoas made specifically for Protruck racing. The are forged.
Those wheels are badass!

Looks like 7" in the rear and 1" in the front for 112". Going to make my own bedsides by cutting and splicing other bedsides together. Did a photoshop of the Fiberwerx Retro glass.

That's going to look awesome!! I guess great mind think alike cause that's what I was thinking if I linked and stretch mine except only to 110" though.

I am going to put it together and keep the current engine and trans, then put the LS motor in at later date. So I all I have to do is cage / rear shock mounts / sheet metal work / fuel cell and pumps / install gears / fix the brakes / build steering.

I'm guessing 6 months if I haul ass or maybe up to a year if I start slacking.

Updates will be slow for Feb, I have KOH, Parker, BAP, Leduc, and work and testing this week on a 7200. I spent last night putting the engine and trans in it.

Pulled the fuel tank, removed the fuel lines and vents, gutted the interior, cut part of the frame off to fit a fuel cell, and drew up a quick fuel cell design. Gotta call Harmon tomorrow to get the cell going. Should be 55-60 useable gallons when done.

Looks like there will be room for two buckets in the rear, two 37" spares, and 38 x 24 for cargo. It's going to be cozy.

I still need to cut the rear crossmember out after I build something to hold the frame in place. Sheetmetal work should be simple. Going to Rhino line or Linex the back after sheetmetal to keep it quiet and easy to clean.

I was thinking of doing this same thing down the road. I would think all you would need is a shortbed bed sides from what ever fiberglass company you would go with and just a little fiberglass work after the rear wheel.

With all this work, how come the daily driver link setup instead of a 4 link?

Geoff is a friend of mine and I wanted to prove the product can work just fine. Took way to long for me to do, as a bunch of trucks have these setups and work. There is some packaging issues with the upper link if I went with a traditional 4 link too.

There really isn't much more work this way.
