Ha, the first picture I saw and I recognized this Bronco. I saw it at SMP last week. Looks really good. Steven does awesome top notch work. He's built a few magazine cover trucks and they all looked bad ass.

It's pretty funny how I also have a green 89 with a 92-96 front clip and I'm also going to have my bumpers built at SMP.

Here's what my Bronco looked like when my fenders were black for a day. The other picture is what it looks like now.

Twins except for the fact that mine's had a hard life with some slight physical abuse. I will bring it back and make it look better like Johnny Cash said, "One Piece at a Time"

6-inch Skyjacker front suspension with the beefy Skyjacker beam-drop brackets. The shocks are Bilstein 5150s. The rear is Deaver F53s with a 3.5 inch angled block. I'm going to switch over to 5.5-inch Deaver J40s in the rear and replace all the ball joints on my front end and hopefully it will run much better after that.

My front suspension is the same one that was on Off-Road magazine's project Bronco. It performed really nice so for now I'm going to keep it and build my '79 Bronco to Go Fast!

Here's a link to a video of the Skyjacker kit in action before it was on my truck..

Take your time removing all the old adhesive on the badges (I didn't because the whole thing will eventually get painted) and if you're rattle canning it, buy at least two cans of spray paint for each side (4 cans of Primer, 4 cans of spray paint and 4 cans of clear gloss to protect against scratches) and three of each for the hood. I've had really awesome results like this but in all honesty, you're Bronco is nice enough where it would probably be better to have Maaco paint the front end for you... I bet it wouldn't cost as much as you think and the end result would be really clean looking (far better than my rattle can job at least).

That front bumper and light bar came out great. I like the idea of being able to remove the light bar.
