Santa Margarita Toyota where Seabass works... shop is awesome, when I had my 4runner, Service Manager let me watch them change the timing belt... side note, cool idea they used to get access to the front of the engine, they put my truck on a two post, removed the front wheels, and then lowered it so the front of the truck would be lowered and easier to access

And damn it...one of the guys there was racing I think a 7 truck and I think moved up to TT....Seabass will know

Mike Horner owns the 7 truck you where talking about Robert. He was racing class 8 back then as well. The shop is nice but its a mixxed blessing at times. Its pretty difficult to do heavy line and keep it up to company standards.

Doug, he raced a S10 after he sold the toyota. Maybe it exchanged a few hands first. Im not to savy on the story but I thought thats what my buddy told me. Almost 10 years ago now!

Soooooo.... The bronco led a pretty hard life before I owned it and me putting 35"s on it didn't do it any favores. I've been chasing a steering issue and I found the frame cracking by the steering box Gonna try and bite the bullet with my next pay check if possible and do the whole front end. While its apart I'll pull the steering box and weld up the cracks. Any plate kits or common issues I should know about before tearing it all down?

On a positive note I installed the battery tray I got from bondobob at the swap meet and wired it to my fridge in the back. Isolated it using the circuit for trailer power. Key on all one 12v system key off two seperate 12v systems

That also happen to my f150 the frame cracked by the steering got welded up and plan to plate the frame it help up good with a good weld

Pressure washed it last night and had my girlfriend turn the wheel while I was underneath. The engine subframe is floating inside the drivers side frame rail! The only thing keeping the front end of my truck from banana peeling is the front bumper and motor mounts. Gonna park it untill I have the dough for my coil overs.

Are those the same rims I have? Somebody told me that mine were 7.5 " and I couldn't go bigger than 10.50" on them.

They are stock wheels and yes, probably a 7.5". Not being able to go wider than a 10.50" tire on them is BS though. I run 35x12.50r15's on 15x7's all the time.

You can go wider at the expense of tire wear. At a certain point the tires balloon and loose their square shape causing the centers to wear faster than the rest of the tire.

Agreed.....12.50 will fit an OE wheel without issue. These Generals on my parts Bronco are some of the widest 33's I've seen and even their tread is pretty flat.
