Yeah - but you just bought that thing already running. If that counts - so does my Tacoma.

Mine can pull a u turn on a 30 foot wide road, it just requires a bit of skinny pedal.

This one should be the same as bertha Philo. I THINK it's 150-155".

I know on the 70's trucks the ex cab long bed is 150" and the short bed crew cab is 155". I think Chris' is the same as a crew cab short bed so I'm thinking 155".

Don't think I haven't given that some thought Mark.

And regarding the wheelbase I think it's 142.50 but I'd have to measure again to confirm.

ha ha ha kept s--- talking Steve and I'll call your mommy (girlfriend) and tell her Baja is dangerous. Now get back to your girlie Alfa and sell your 70s trucks to real men.

No shiate talking at all Chris - just telling the man what's up. Same I would do if he asked for progress on my stuff.

Karen already thinks baja is dangerous so you wouldn't be telling her anything she doesn't already think. And worse case scenario on that she gives me enough reason to stay home and I quite going. Then you no longer have a car pool buddy for the trips ;)

And girly alfa???? Keep dreaming. Bugs are for girls - Alfas are for sophisticated drivers! Get a bug and we can do 2 things to compare my alfa to it. 1 - check the value of which is worth more. 2 - race them. Alfa wins both - hands down.

So yeah - I'll get back to what I have been doing which has nothing to do with cars/trucks at all... Pics below are what I've been busy working on. I did the plan, built the deck and am starting to install the plants. Feels like Hawaii/Costa Rica here already.

Notice I said "give me reason to stay home" - not "tell me to." There are reasons I would quit going to Baja. I don't think she's the type to ask that I do though.

For the alfa - what comment above? About selling the 70's trucks and sticking to the alfa? If so why? So you can win the race of who can never touch their project and who will be done last???

Now for the radius arm tabs comment - what else have you asked me to do? You've asked to borrow the trailer so you can get the c3 going - I said sure. You've yet to act on it. You've had me set up my buddy making body mounts for the c3 thing - I did (which reminds me - I need to check if they are done). Plus she doesn't rip on me and then ask me to do favors/build stuff for her - haha

Take it easy take it easy Steve. Just busting your balls as you are coming off whipped, lol. I hope she doesn't read this thread or she really won't be coming to the August run.

I'm not all worked up - just giving you crap back.

And not whipped for doing the deck, etc. - it's what I do for work and what I like to do. Plus she's letting me use tropical plants (the deck is at her place if others hadn't figured that out already) which I like and don't often get to do on projects for real work.

Truth is I like doing stuff like this almost as much as I like working on the trucks. Heck - some days I like this more!

Plus - I could give a crap if I come off looking like something online. Truth is it's an internet forum... Enough guys around here know me to know who/how I really am and the others can read into it what they want - doesn't phase me at all ;)
