Steve, I have every piece I need for the conversion but I'm not looking forward to removing all that junk on the inner fenders. Everyone says that it looks worse then it is but I don't know. That will definitely be a long weekend project.

I've had a few front clips apart and it's really not as bad as you would expect. Just go for it!

Christopher's 1989 Four Door Bronco

Post by BajaBronco13 »

Is anyone running a carbon or fiberglass dash? I decided to remove the dash this weekend on the four door. Speaking to John at Speed Unlimited we decided that it would be best to run a fiberglass dash and run the cage as close to the A Pilars and the firewall so away goes the oem dash.

I'm going the Fiberwerx's route:

Beard Ultra Pros are all in. My four seater is ready for a cage:

Yikes! LOL..... Yeah, that looks about like what I remembered. It's been about 10 years since the one that I looked at.

you don't want to look at the section lines on these things - they are FUGLY from what I have seen. The 70's stuff they did in the ford factory (crew cabs like mine were made from 2 cabs pulled from the assembly line) look MUUUUCH better.

Go look around in a Limo shop and that stuff won't scare you so much.

Centruion/Magnum & a imo shop = same thing pretty much. SCARY what people build and drive around in every day. ESPECIALLY stull like limos that are so common

Keep dreaming! We talked about this truck a bit while at the 500 this weekend but as usual he hasn't done anything but look at it. Much like one of my builds...

ha ha ha shut your pie hole Steve and get at least one of your trucks running. At least I have my 86 that I can go out and play in.
