Ah do the 3.5 ecoboost haha. That'd be awesome too the 5.0 with the Ecuador isn't horribly expensive for what you're getting.

Tom,

I am looking at having Solo Motorsports build a cage much like the red Bronco on their website. Bobby and I will get to work as soon as the engine is in.

The engine is heading to L & R Engines in Santa Fe Springs next Monday and I'll have it back in two weeks and into the Bronco a week after that.

Regarding the fenders, I haven't order them yet. I gotta call Tiffne to place my order in. Can't wait to get the Tony Rojo inner fender treatment and the OEM style Autofab fenders.

On the list of to dos:

Finish trimming the hood
Inner Fenders and Autofab fenders
Front Skid
Rear Tank Skid
Belly Pan
Fab Mirrors
New front bumper light bar, replacing the one on there now
Mounting of the rear LEDs flush mounted into the tailgate
Solo Motorsports cage with built in seat mounts (3 seater), tire carrier and pit box hold downs, etc.

Getting really excited to see this truck done.

Chris

Anything interesting happening to the motor Chris? .030 over pistons with a nice set of aluminum heads and a healthy cam maybe??... it would make for a cool hopped up 306.

Hey Agui,

All to stock specs. Not doing anything exciting to the motor. L & R will have the engine this afternoon. I've called them and have lined everything up. Mechanic is dropping off the motor today:

That's a hell of a way to showcase the Southwest Performance's goodies, Chris!

Nah Steve, would rather have that thing back together and running. Fenders are getting skinned by Tony now and the front core support is getting powder coated. Then off to Solo. She won't even come home to me until she is done.

Why does it seem everyone puts the spare on the passenger side - inside...doesn't the drivers side make more sense from a visibility perspective? Just curious....

A Couple answers...
1. I usually ride alone and it seems more of a balance on the passenger side.
2. Its easier for me to look right
3. Thats how it was from the factory if your truck was equipped with inside tire mount.
4. I like the look of 2 spares... so i can't really say :0

I know Steve, LOL. SB seems to be down for way too long.

Robert and Tony, yeah I'm with you on the spare tire. Mine will be on the driver side rear to free up that section as to not create a blind spot.

Three wheeling is awesome! Except when you're not expecting it.
